Not for girls: the racing urinal
Avid gamer? Dab hand on the, ahem, joystick? Well, head over to Germany and sink a few beers to prove your driving skills on the most manly racing game around.

To combat increasing levels of drink-driving, Saatchi & Saatchi has developed 'the Piss-Screen' (really, that's what it's called) - a urinal-cum-video game installed in Frankfurt bogs.

An LCD screen mounted above the urinal displays a racing game that starts automatically when the urinal is in use.

The gamer 'steers' the car by, erm, altering his direction of flow onto sensors mounted in the urinal in order to avoid oncoming traffic.

However, when the gamer loses his flow, the game ends in what Saatchi & Saatchi describes as a 'shocking crash sequence', followed by a number for a local taxi firm.

As a ploy to encourage boozers to take a cab rather than drive, we applaud the Piss-Screen. But what about the girls? Lady gamers, stand up and be counted. Or rather, sit down.

WOW! Next time I'm in Frankfurt, I have to try this! Amazing! :o

Last year, when Germany hosted the soccer world cup, most of the pub and restroom urinals were converted to soccer fields... I guess we've come a long way since then.

I wonder if they'll install a screen on the inside of the stall door.  That way, one can play 'drop the bomb' while sitting.

A coworker told me about a similiar video urinal where you hit the target and the nose on a clown blows up like a balloon. Also there is a urinal that has a life-like picture of a fly inside it, the logic being that guys will instinctly aim for the fly and hit the urinal and not the floor.
