I'm feeling a little like a kid at Christmas!  So many more names on the list.  This is fantastic.

Jen, Lisa, Jerry, Dan, Rapid Rod, David & David, &  Mr. T (Hunter) I'll see you all there!    :D

Blix, Milker, & SDCrew, not sure what more I can say, except if you decide to join us I predict you will have a really great time!  ;)

Still 4 months to go, but it seems like the date is racing toward us.

RAB  ;D

(Who's  looking forward to the opportunity to make new friends and reconnect with others.  Happy times that is.)

Don't forget guys we will have two wedding anniversaries to celebrate while we are there...Ric and Thom and the two Davids..we may have to celebrate a day or so earlier but celebrate we will, so get those cocktails ordered and lined up... ;)

Hugs
Jan :-*

Edited to add...all my flights have been confirmed, just a few things to do...like pay for the tickets and secure the flights..damn those flights have gone up since last year, but it's all worth it.

I'm glad your flights have been confirmed... that meas you WILL be there!  And yes, it'll be a time for celebration.  Not only do we have two anniversaries, but the fact we're all together and have made it through another year of HIV/AIDS.  To me, that's a big reason to celebrate in itself.  So... let's drink up!  Hugs to you, Jan.

hey RAB...

for the maybes you left out AUNTIE EM!!!. robert

Robert:  Oh no I didn't. I responded to her when she first posted.  Plus I've been terrorizing that poor woman via PMs.  Nagging that is.   ::)  She's going to wait till the end of June and see how her health is, but is seriously wanting to come.  So let's keep our fingers crossed.

Blixer, Milker, and SDCrew (I almost typed Screw--oops):  Come on guys, the suspense is killing us.

RAB

P.S.  I know there are others who are coming too that haven't announced yet,  so even with the fall off we see each year,  the late comers deciding closer to the date, looks to me like our gang of HIVers is going to be well represented in the city by the bay.   :D

T--she's packing Jen, which is even better. That girl and I, while I had a vicious cold, trudged through drizzly Montreal on a Sunday night looking to illegally buy some hooch! She'll smack your bitch up. And Jen is bringing her hubby, besides!

Tim...I'll bring you a little sample of their coat if I can..a little bit of Blackjack and Elrond.. ;) just not sure what customs would think of that, maybe it will be safe enough in my case...anyone know about these things?

Rab...and I thought I was the only Nag on the forums... :D

Jan, take it from me. Rab is a Nag. He nagged me last year and this year he started nagging even earlier. I'm going just to make Rab happy that he got his way.  ;) Jan, he's also spoiled. I feel for his better half. Ear plugs have to be expensive.  :D

Basquo, we all remember very well the mayhem and debauchery that occured on the 14th floor. (Particularly rooms #1415 and #1412--but I'm not naming names.   :-X) YIKES!   :o   ;)

Jan, take it from me. Rab is a Nag.

Hi Rod

I know he is a NAG, but he obviously respects his elders becasue he never says a word when I'm nagging him..or do you think he is just humouring me?

As for the 14th floor..I'm beginning get to suspicious about who really sent the security men up...Hmmm..Rab did leave earlier than anyone else...keeping my  :-X...but  :o never the less.... ;)

Jan, Rab does respect his elders to a point. He doesn't understand NO, maybe, or I'm not sure. He only understands, yes or OK. He does speak highly of you Jan. I ask him if you had an accent, and he assured me most definitely, that you did. He said you could be compared to any of our sailors or truck drivers. Now don't ask me what that means. ;)

Milker, alright buddy!  Glad you decided to join us.  Now please promise me you won't be wearing that darn mask the whole time!   ;)

Count me in, now I just need a place to stay ....

Hey Cabincrew, are you meaning you won't be at the hotel?  Or are you looking for someone to share a room with?  I think a couple of others asked about sharing rooms earlier, but I don't remember who.  Good to hear you'll be coming to SF.

I know he is a NAG,

O.K. you two (Jan and Rod) I confess I can be a nag!  What can I say, trying to deny it would be foolish.  I can tell already that you two are going to be trouble and will probably get into lots of trouble in SF if we don't keep you seperated!  Lord help us all!    ::)

RAB   ;D

Hey sdcagincrew,

3 nights should only cost $393.30 including tax for 3 nights.  When you call the Powell Hotel ask for the AMG group rate.

As we get closer there may be someone looking to share the room so the cost of the room could be cut in half.

I am one of those rare smokers and I do not want to bother anyone else.  Plus, what if I have a hook up opportunity I do not want to piss any roomies off with my sometimes uninhibited sense of fun in the bedroom.

This will be my first gathering, but I'm gonna go no matter what.  I've basically been an observer here.   It will be wonderful to meet all of you.

Blixer, were you able to get your arraignments together. If not, you are going to call in sick for four days or when do you want me to call them and tell them you are in drug rehab and won't be in for a week? I know you're shy, but I won't have any trouble doing it for you.  :D

Board meeting was a disaster.  I won't go into details.  But when all was said and done I just simply said I was going to be gone.  So now I just have to find the time to work out the reservation and the flights.  It has been a busy weekend with going to some graduations and traveling over 1000 miles via automobile within the state of MO.  Hopefully I'll be settled back home tomorrow night and can finalize some things.  I thought I had flights picked out, but the ones I picked are now unavailable and I'm trying to put together another "reasonably priced" schedule.  I'm planning on being there if things don't fall apart in getting it set up.

Several of you have sent PM's to me wondering if I can come to SF this year.  I have a wedding (certainly not mine!) that will keep me in Louisville (thats lou-ah-vull) until late Friday evening.  I have been able to clear my calendar afterwards (that was also a problem before.)  While I hate to come late... I still very much want to attend again.  I am going to see if it is possible for me to get there on Saturday probably by mid afternoon.  I will miss the meet and greet and the memorial service, but i could be there for cocktail hour on Saturday and then everything else.

This isn't a "yes" yet, but I am seriously trying to work out the arrangements.  Encouragement from you will probably be helpful.  I really want to see everyone again!

I am going to see if it is possible for me to get there on Saturday probably by mid afternoon.

Frontier has a flight leaving Louisville at 6:55 a.m. has you into SFO at 10:05 a.m.  There are other options also.

I'll buy your 1st Manhattan!  None of the cheap bourbon either--the good stuff!   ;)

David:

Check out Delta Airlines.  Their roundtrip STL to OAK airfares ($240) are currently $90 cheaper than Southwest Airlines.

I am looking all around... that Frontier flight is almost $500  (egads), but i have found some others that get in around 10 or 11 Pacific time.  I just hate missing Friday and whatever happens Saturday morning, but this is encouraging that I can still join in somehow.

If I can make it work, I will post.  Thanks for the tips and especially the encouragement.  I really want to come and it has been killing me that I thought I would have to miss because of this wedding.

I was using faulty memory (often occurance with me.)  I have since found the $360 fare and some better return times.  A long lay is one thing (hmm), but not a long layover!  I am also considering an extra day or two since I will have been deprived of those days earlier.  Frontier has the same fare with returns on Tues, Wed or Thurs.

Southwest was best ($290) but it does not get into SFO until almost 4 pm on Saturday.  I don't want to give up valuable time.

While I am doing this, I am also trying to throw together a three day jaunt to Las Vegas in June.

I will post when I come up with something definite.

Will definitely take RAB up on that Manhattan offer...premium bourbon is the house wine of Kentucky!

I'm a 'serious maybe' still for the time being. As soon as I know for sure, you'll all know.

Just for the record, RAB is such a charmer by pm: Btw I was serious about the bribery by chocolate, mister...;)
