Hi! I wanted to ask a question so u could assess my risk factor. I am a female who had unprotected sex 4 times with an hiv positive male. No ejaculation and I know for sure he is  undetectable..I am very worried..It is not smart to have sex with anyone when drunk :-[ How big of a risk have I put myself at. the sex lasted no more than 4-5 minutes each time and the last time was nov 29th..Thank u in advance.

Even though he did not ejaculate you were at risk for HIV if he had it....although less so as he is undetectable. It's still possible in theory.

How do you know he has it? Even if you are drunk you should know that having unprotected sex with someone is risky not just for HIV but for a host of STDs (hey and even the odd unwanted baby).

If you knew he had HIV, then it doesn't matter how drunk you were or get in the future - you don't have unprotected sex.

You need to get a HIV test after the window-period....12-13 weeks.

PLEASE read the lessons section on safer sex....you need it. You wouldn't risk your life and others by driving drunk - so why do so in bed?

I know..it was so stupid of me and I wont ever do it again..Cant really tell u why cuz I dont know myself..

Well, there is little you can do now until the test results so can I humbly suggest you find a reason as to why in that time. You might not be lucky all the time so you should find a reason as to why you did what you did and stop it. Once is a mistake - 4 times suggests something else is going on.

I will only add that even if you can't come up with "the why" of your dangerous behavior, then simply stay awake to the reality that unprotected intercourse means you are risking your life. You can have all the sex you like and with as many partners as you choose. Just do it the safer way which means that whoever the guy is has to always be using a condom. No exceptions.

Time and again I have seen mixing excessive drinking and drugging with casual and impulsive sex as the way to HIV infection.

We're talking about your life here! If I am scaring you it's because I mean to.
