Title: 3 years later
Post by: klassykitty on February 13, 2014, 08:52:10 pm
I had my doctor visit last friday it was good and sucked.

The good part:  My CD4 is at 201 and my % is a whopping 12%   :)
The sucky part:  nurse vampire got to give me a pneumonia shot :(   she also took most of my blood (i think she stores it for a late night snack ;) and my hep shot crap and tetnus shot will probably start when I go for my next visit in may.

Normally when a patient hits 200 my doctor goes to every 6 month visit, but since it took me forever I still get 3 months for at least 2 more visits.

Nurse Vampire did congratulate me and I got a cherry tootsie pop and a gold star. :)

In 2003 when my t-cells were @ 16,  I was getting labs every three months.

Effective last year, I now get labs once every four months.

Take care and stay warm !---Ray
