Since Larry just had his birthday last week (my twink husband is now 56 :D ) and Halloween was in the middle of this week, we had parties this past weekend.

Saturday night, we had some family over for my homemade vegetable lasagna. We played Attack Uno and then sat by the fire in a food coma for a while after the cake with cream cheese frosting.

I forgot we had Halloween decorations until Sunday, so we decked the pit area out in 'spiderwebs' and cranked up our fog machine.....to make it spo-o-o-ky!! LOL

So Sunday night, we had a large group of friends over where we all brought different types of chili and cornbread for dinner. We played a card game called Wizards, and toasted marshmallows over the fire for s'mores. And got super drunk. LOL But no one fell in the fire and the s'mores were delicious even if I ended up with melted marshmallow all in my moustache.

Tonight we're hiding out, with the porch light off, on our dark end of the street even though there aren't any trick-or-treaters around while Larry catches up on the football games he recorded this weekend.

We were standing all alone
You were leaning in to speak to me
Acting like a mover shaker
Dancing to Madonna then you kissed me
And I think about it all the time
