My doctors never thought I’d reach 200, but then one test showed my number had jumped above it.

Each of us progresses differently, depending on where we start, how our bodies adapt, and any other factors or challenges we’re facing. And let’s not forget—stress can take a serious toll on the body.

Keep doing what you’re doing, ask your doctors questions, and stay positive. Good things will come with time and effort.

Look at me, for example—I started at just ‘2,’ and my numbers have climbed. Honestly, they didn’t have much room to go lower, but progress is progress!

Do I Have HIV? / Re: Blood on toilet

Asked and answered already.

HIV is fragile, once exposed outside of the body, the receptors needed to infect corroded and the cut you had wasn't a route.

Zero HIV risk, move on with your life!

When HIV is outside the body, changes in the environment (like humidity, temperature and exposure to air) destroy HIV. You had NO risk for HIV. Actual risks for HIV are unprotected anal/vaginal sex or by sharing injection needles.

Have a good day,
Michael

Reducing Your HIV risks:
With no exceptions, use condoms correctly and consistently for anal or vaginal intercourse
Talk to a healthcare provider about PrEP as another layer of protection

Get tested yearly for HIV and other STIs.
If you don’t use condoms and/or PrEP, test more frequently

Some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other more easily acquired STIs. It is possible to show no signs or symptoms from an STI so testing is the only way to know.

Get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

What’s the ONLY way to know if you’ve been infected by HIV or an STI?
Get tested.

Do I Have HIV? / Blood on toilet
« Last post by Yooamb on December 10, 2024, 05:27:01 am »
I went into the airplane toilet and there were bloody wet tissues in the sink. I was disgusted and I unlocked the door from the inside to get back out. At that moment I noticed that it was covered in blood and there was a small wound on my hand that had just formed. Does this put me at risk? I am very stressed right now.

Consulta a tu médico y recibe tratamiento.

Gracias.

ojo.          Hello Duckman, I’m glad to hear that everything goes well with your new two medication in one treatment, I Really envy you. I wish I can take you one bill a day but, it is what it is, After Thirty Years leven With eights/HIV and with a history of resistance, I shouldn’t be complaining about the amount of medication I take at least, there is still a combination of pills that I can take to suppress my faithful Companion since 1994, since my diagnosis because I had this MFSM since 1986. That is really love.

Keep up the good work and please keep us posted because the story helps others on this Forums … abrazos

Ps. for my typos. I think I need a new cell phone. Christmas is coming and I think I’ve been a good boy
