Hello. My story goes that i had sex with a prostitute, who was from Russia. In intercourse i used two rubbers that she put on me. However this was my first time intercourse so my penis shrank to a normal small size while still been in the girl and was there quite some time (with condoms on). she removed the condoms and i took a quick shower without so much putting attention on washing my genitals. after the sex i had a tingling feeling which ment that i had catched some disease but don't know what. a Week later my lymboids on my genital area hurted bad. especially on my right side. they are still tender but they don't hurt so much any more. Allso i felt pretty tired(dispite worrying) . between the week symptoms occured  and intercourse happened i also suffered mild erection problems during that period(propably because it was my first time.Please help me, I know this sound like  i´m suffering from factitious disorder, but the pain felt and still felts real.

I  went to see doctor but she said that i should't worry because so much.  something else could[ also cause my lymphoids to hurt and the symptoms started after one week are too short for hiv. She took a test after 10 days of possible infection risk a now i wait for results. I'm planning to go on pcr-test but right now i can't consider anything else being the case rather than hiv-virus.

You didn't have a a risk for hiv. You had protected sex. You need learn the proper way to wear a condom. You never double up on condoms that could cause a failure. You lucked out this time, but you do need to learn the proper use of a concom.

thank you for those hopyfull words. They really calm me down some what. The girl used lubricant and i looked that she didn't use injection drugs. I know that sounded stupid since Hiv could be with anyone but at least i thought it would mean less propable infetion source. Also she suffered from cold I think so this could also be it.

I just hope that she was a responsible sex worker in that sense. Excuse me my language use of english is worse than my use of condom.

I had sex with an russian prostitute and developed pain in my genital area lymbydes. i forgot to mention that the girl ride on me so i can´t tell whether the condom has moved when i got so scared that i shrunk in to my normal size.
does position have much effect on condoms movement?

It doesn't matter if there were movement or not. The condom did not come off and you maintained safe sex. It doesn't change the matter that you were not at risk.

Condoms have been proven to be very effective when it comes to preventing hiv transmission. You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL STIs together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with a sexually transmitted infection.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

While you do not need to test over this specific, protected incident, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Symptoms or the lack of symptoms mean nothing when it comes to hiv infection and for that reason, we do not discuss symptoms here.

Hello Whyme here again i got the result of being negative. The test was made 2 months and 26 days after possible infection. Now i´m still worried about those stupid 4 days and wonder should i still take the test after six months to but put this matter to rest.

You do not need further testing. Those four days aren't going to make the slightest bit of difference. The vast majority of people who have actually been infected will seroconvert and test positive by six WEEKS. The three month window exists merely to catch the rare person who takes a little longer than six weeks to produce enough antibodies to be detected on the test. If you were positive, you would have tested positive by now.

You are hiv negative. Make sure you use condoms correctly and consistently and you will continue to avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple

Hello! I posted few years ago about my possible hiv infection with a russian prostitute. My lymph nodes started to hurt and got fever. The pain got so constant that and i went to a total panic( forced treatment in a mental hospital for 3 months). Later the doctors told me that i have a tendency for psychosomatic pain and i thinking every skin rash is a early sign for infection. But once again i got little lonely and went to a russian prostitute more than 24 hours ago. This time I used my own latex condoms and decided to have only a blowjob but it ended up once again with a 1 minute long riding on top of me . After that the jerked me of with her mouth and ejaculated on condom. My question conserns that when i took the condom of what if vaginal fluids on condom ended between my penis foreskin and that could cause infection because i didn't wash it or wiped it. Once again i have started to look red spots or rash in my body and i try really hard not to do it but cant help it.( Already found one  red spot  ). my infection fear is abnormally high even though i know now that it's not a flu you can catch just by standing on a subway. I havent felt feverish or lymphnode pain yeat but if i do doctors gave me medicine to increase my rational though and overcome paranoia thinking. Thank you for your reply.

Once again, nothing you did or had done to you was a risk for hiv infection.

You seem to have a history of being ultra paranoid about hiv. We cannot help you with that here.
