KEEP ON KEEPING ON part 1,2 3.........
« on: October 26, 2010, 03:50:24 pm »
I am away to Orkney on Thursday . With my mother so ill I have reduced the trip to 3 weeks. This involved a conscious working out off her dying and time it would likely take to arrange the funeral. We have been summoned to her death bed 3 times since May.  I spent last week with her, the first day left me convinced this was the beginning off her end, on Sunday we shared chocolate eclairs and she ran me ragged tidying the personal and medical objets around her bed.

All has been said between us. what I have not told her is how this time is so similar to my late partners dying, how I have entered that space that allows you too stay with heart breaking words but unable to decide between a latte or a mocha.

I am delighted I have no more hospital visits for 4 weeks. All the tests done. The low blood pressure, sweating and periods off nauseous illness now a normal part off the week. When my ID doc reviews all the tests hopefully there will be something to lessen these symptoms off autonomic neuropthy, maybe not.

The dental ops have healed well, hopefully stopping the infections off a crumbling jaw.

All my health problems at the moment are the result off the chemo I am alive but damaged.

So I bid you farewell for 3 or 4 weeks, as I cannot afford 2 internet bills.

Look after your selves my friends in LTS land , I am away to the frozen north to make pictures.

love mhtv

Mhtv, I'll be keeping you and your mum in my thoughts.  Sorry you're going through all these medical problems yourself, but I realize the importance of being with your mother.  Please take care of yourself, and I really hope you have a live person you can talk to about everything going on. :-*
