That was fun! Not that I haven't enjoyed the chats prior but we had a crowd this time and that was great!

OMG. so I told Larry that besides being PI day there was another holiday on my birthday. His reply was that I didn't usually give him chocolate or flowers on Valentine's Day so he didn't think that steak or blowjobs were really going to be options on some made up holiday either. LOL  I pointed out that I should still get birthday sex because it'll be, well duh, my birthday, so that'll still work out in my favor.    plus there will be pie. mmm I want a cherry pie for my birthday.

Yea the steak and blowjobs holiday was also news to me… but then again I haven’t celebrated V Day with a guy in probably 12 years, so that’s undoubtedly also out of the question 🤣

My cat’s name is Charley… she’s usually not that active- I think she was def putting on a show!

Can’t wait for the next one- maybe I’ll just enjoy one beer during it! Two had me feeling kinda buzzed which is soooooo so soooooo sad

I got asked by another forum member what we generally talk about during these meets, so I said I would post a quick note here.

So most of the time, it's catching up, talking about life, how we're all doing, dating, pets, renovations, work, study and family etc., but sometimes HIV does come up, or someone has a question about treatment, developments and those kinds of things.

I think that's a fair summary, but if anyone feels I missed anything, please chime in.

I've got stuff to talk about.  We lost our doctor, well HIV Specialist NP; gained a new IV Specialist NP; and got blood results (oh noes! I had a blip! LOL plus Larry and I have the same cd4 and cd8 %s and the same cd4/cd8 ratio). Aberdeen weights 27lbs now - and got punished for the first time.

It was great seeing some newer diagnosed people today. I hoped you got some questions answered, some support, and just didn't feel so alone with all this. If you didn't get a chance to say or ask what you would have liked to talk about, you could always fire off a message to Jim (hope you don't mind me throwing you under the bus like this, Jim. LOL) and I'm sure he'd work it into the next conversation.

Oh I like a good margarita but then again they kick my butt way too quickly.  Also could be why I only drink them with a friend when we get them by the pitcher.

But also, like the others we sure went all over the place with our conversation but just felt like friends getting together to catch up on what's been going on.
