CCR5 Targeted Cell Therapy for HIV and Prevention of Viral Escape

With both Sangamo and Calimmune targeting the CCR5 receptor, understanding how to prevent viral escape when applying these technologies should be a useful field of study. Calimmune contributed to this paper.

Dont you know,  they have done in making ZFN CCR5 autogolous stem cell transplantation in monkeys,  both of non shiv and shiv.  The result is monkeys are still healthy and production multilineage cells.
