My nerves are almost dead...
« on: October 13, 2015, 09:37:44 am »
Hi All,

I'm a straight guy. Had unprotected sex on the 23rd Aug.
22 days after that I had a finger pick test came back negative.
51 days after the event I had a full blood drawn test came back negative today.

Not sure if I should check this sh.t again after 90 days.....

Why I'm actually mad is because I have an ongoing huge problem with all of this:
- I always lose erection when I start unpacking the condom, therefore I always risk, but after that I always think I got infected and I stop living life and behave as if I would have the virus. Quitting job and lay in the bed at home..., thus every time this happens I lose couple months from my life until a last negative test result comes in.
I think the mind has a huge power, because after sex I think about the symptoms and they actually come as its written in the internet after two weeks.
I start having diarrhea, vomiting, high temperature, feeling extremely weak, my joints hurt, high sound in the ears and this very last time I was waiting the dots on my body and they came. As its written...I got it on my chest and back, then they disappeared in 2 days. My throat hurt too.

I mean I read that a conclusive negative test is conclusive if its done after 3 months, so I might have the virus.

But bottom line is I don't know how to deal with my problem with the condoms. I really want to solve this issue, because I cant have another 3 months episode in my life. If I cant solve, I just wont have sex anymore. I'm a wreck every time. I'm killing my nerve system very badly.

Thanks for reading!

I know from my experience doing risk assessments that nothing I tell you will bring you comfort or make your problem better. You need to be talking to a mental health care provider and not us ... We cant help you with your HIV phobia.

A negative test at 13 weeks past any possible exposure is conclusive . You can read about testing here . http://www.aidsmeds.com/articles/HIVtests_5029.shtml

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI.Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thanks for your fast reply!

So I definitely caught something from my last unprotected exposure, because I have pain down there. There is some sort of inflammation around the anus, prostate and urethra.
So I did today couple tests after 85 days:

From bloodwork:
- AIDS (HIV DUO Quick) Biomerieux Vidas
- RPR Syphilis (Rapid plasma reagin test)
- TPHA Syphilis (Core syphilis)
- Hepatitis-C Ak, (Immunoassay)
- Chlamydia trachomatis AG (ELFA)

From urethral unction:
- N. Gonorrhoe
- Soor
- Trichomonas

All came back negative, although there is a note saying they found a little bacteria..
Is there anyone can tell me what can it be? My symptoms getting worst and I actually have pain.
They told me to bring my sperm in a box tomorrow morning for further tests.
Is there any other STD I can check for ???
Huge thanks!
I forgot to tell that I also have a high disturbing sound in my ears....

We only do risk assessments for HIV and advise you to work with your doctor if you are sick. You negative test is not going to change so what ever is going on has nothing to do with HIV.

Thanks Jeff for your huge help in this forum and all the others as well!

This time I would like to talk about something else, but I cant change the topic, so I just write here.

As you read my messages before I was a very irresponsible person in all my sexual life. It mostly comes from the fact, that my country has one of the lowest record of infected people, but as I got older and got scared too many times, I changed my habits.
So it doesnt mean everything is going good now. Im still a very shy person, who needs to drink too much to seem like an alpha male who attracts women...
The problem is coming obviously from here..So because I drink, I dont have full erection with condom, therefore I already had to send home 5 girls out of 6 after I wrote you last time. Yes, I was just able to finish the encounter fully with 1 woman with condom on out of 6, so thats a roughly 17% success rate, because of the condom, which doesnt make me very happy..
Im still wondering if you guys have any idea how a guy should practice so he can perform better with condom?
As of HIV I dont have a concern about these encounters, because the condoms always stayed on my penis and stayed there till the end.
But there is a thing which makes me worried, because this was never a topic on this forum!
So I have a health issue I think, although all doctors say it is not a health issue, but nobody knows why it occurs. Its called: map-tongue.
This means from time to time my tongue looks like a map. It has circles and other shapes of missing layer. It hurts, these shapes are actually wounds!!! So It is like an open skin, I see blood on my tongue.
And here the problem comes....I like 69 too much. I did put my about 50% wounded tongue into vaginas a lot. I lick it and all that stuff.
I think this is a more serious issue, than putting a cut finger into a vagina, because I leave my tongue in the vagina sometimes for a long period, so no air can damage the virus....and its a bigger surface, than a cut finger.
This is almost exactly how it looks:

I had it all my life. It disappears from time to time.....

I remember reading when some of you guys mentioned about events when the virus was transmitted via bad mouth hygiene... Thats why I wrote now.
Is this could be equal with that so called bad mouth hygiene?

As always, every input is greatly appreciated! God bless!

As long as you are using condoms for anal and vaginal sex you are not going to get HIV. Your tongue issues have nothing to with HIV so if you have a problem with your oral health please go see your doctor … its not an HIV related issue.

The condom issue … buy some condoms and some lube and spend some alone time putting them on and pleasuring yourself … if you become more confident and aroused with condoms sex will be more enjoyable … make a game out of it and make it feel good and in no time the sight of a condom will arouse you .
