Title: Worried Sick, Please help me.
Post by: gunthersam on December 21, 2008, 04:12:21 pm
I performed oral on a woman sex worker, but I only licked her clit or vaginal hood for about 15 secs. If i remember correctly her clit was dry during the incident. I was very carefull not to touch the labia. I abstained from sex. What a life, it felt like just licking some skin. It's the vaginal fluid that scares me
since her clit got wet with saliva and my mouth was near it so i felt i put myself at risk.

The woman asked me if i am afraid of diseases i told her yes. She told me not to worry
since her establishment has regular testing. Can i take her word for this?

What panicked me, was i read in the internet that the mouth is the same environment
as the urethra of the penis.

I never inserted my tongue inside her. Did I put myself at risk? Please help i am
worried sick and having palpitations at the moment.

Do i need to test. A couple of assurring words from you experts will make me happy. Please post
some comments.

You guys are angels. I am having trouble sleeping over this anxiety of risk.

You are worrying needlessly. There's never been a documented case of transmission via giving oral to a woman. You won't make history by becoming the first. The area of the vagina where a woman's fluids might contain HIV is the cervix, far up in the vaginal cavity away from where your mouth and tongue would go. AND your saliva contains over a dozen proteins and other elements which are very effective at preventing HIV viability.

Sexually all you have to do is always use condoms for vaginal and anal intercourse and you will be well protected as far as HIV is concerned. It really is just that simple.

Cheers.

Hi Andy,

Thanks for your response my anxiety has vanished.

I have a follow up question. In your opinion, do i need to test? I mean i am not
active it's just this one incident and it's not even sex. I think its pure
stupidity on my end.

God bless you.

Gunther

You do not need to test over this incident, but remember anyone who becomes sexually active should be having a full STD check up at least once a year, and also remember that by agreeing to have unprotected sex you run the risk of a possibile infection from all STD's.

Use condoms for anal/vaginal sex at all times...NO EXCEPTIONS.

I've got another question, i remembered i kissed the girl and i peeled a lip
tissue that time. Am i at risk?  I didn't  have sex with the girl, but i kissed her
and when i licked her clit hood for a very brief period since she was seducing
me.

Given the peeled lip scenario does kissing her give me a risk. And also licking
the clitorial hood for a very brief period?

Lately, i got one huge mouth sore in my cheek. I remembered to have bitten it when
sleeping. I confirmed this from the dentist she said i bit it. I am very sorry for asking this.

I feel as if i have thrown away my life.

Is it okay if you guys can tell me finally i have NO RISK and some re-assuring words.
It will help me ease my mind and to go on with my life.

My Christmas has been very sad one for me; I cried thinking about my girl friend.

Kissing, with a sore lip and whatever else you throw into the fear mix is still not a risk for HIV transmission. Your saliva has over a dozen enzymes and proteins which very effectively prevent HIV from being transmitted if it is present. Period. End of story.

Give yourself a holiday gift and drop all this drama and self-pity right now. You have no valid reason to be concerned about HIV. Period.

I've been reading and an overwhelming data from the net says this is a NO
RISK activity and it is like just receiving a blow job. I mean how stupid can
i get.

Sometimes, since this scare started i really felt bad. Perhaps it is the guilt of having,
"What Ifs bog me down".  What if she had a high viral load? I was getting nuts.

I  want to put this behind me. Sometimes, I ask the question how can i be sure? It
feels like a nightmare.

Any last words from you Ann or Andy please.

I just talked to some friends and they told me to relax but if i have a few concerns.

I have this huge swollen canker sore on my salivary gland on my cheek really
worries me. It appeared 3 weeks after incident. It's really huge.

I read on the internet that salivary glands are target for infection. The dentist says i
bit it and gave me medication. I kinda remember also while sleeping there was a pain
on my cheek but i don't feel any pain before going to sleep. Logically it it safe to say
i bit it since it wasn't there before.

What if i am wrong? Am i doomed?  Please, please help me. Just this last post and
I will cease posting.  I need your re assurance for one last time please... :(

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Gunther,

Biting your cheek has nothing to do with licking a clit three weeks earlier. Get a grip already! Licking a clit is NOT a risk for hiv infection. If we thought you were at risk, we'd tell you.

As Rodney has indicated, if you keep posting about this no risk clit licking, you will be given a time out.

To my dearest WW,

I've got a quotes on how to cure OCD from someone,

"OCD is about the thought process. The only person in control of how you feel and how
you think is yourself. Everyone has intrusive thoughts. We tend to notice ours a bit more.
As long as we recognize and tell ourselves that they're just thoughts and that we won't
react to them, it'll help us start building up a tolerance. It is important to not think negatively
about yourself. I try to apply this to my life so that OCD doesn't become a problem again."

"OCD's major driver is FEAR and wanting to keep control. WHAT IF is one of the major ways to imagine a problem. If you use the WHAT IF in a way that it is better instead of worse. What if a nice thing occured. There is a belief inside you somewhere that supports keeping bad things happening. Which by the way is very common but you have perfected a way to do it in a better way and acting on it. Look for the fear and use your WHAT IFs in a healthier way."

Get a grip and listen to the logical side of your brain. Just try to listen to the logic side of
your brain and NOT the emotional. You will feel a lot better. It is okay to be weak and make
mistakes we are only human it is our nature.

Please check the following link this will help relieve your tensions.

I wish all you a Great Year ahead with no worries and anxieties.
God bless you all. I will pray for all of your safety and your peace of mind.

Gunther,

You only need to test at three months following your last incident of UNPROTECTED anal or vaginal intercourse. If you haven't been having UNPROTECTED INTERCOURSE, then you can test NOW for a conclusive result.

Once again, nothing you've done is risky for hiv. You have not had a risk. Keep going on about this NO RISK clit licking and you WILL be given that time out Rodney warned you about.

Please consider this your last warning.

Ann and Andy,

Please don't ban me i've just got this last question. I did some investigation on the sexual worker and
found out she had contact with a man who is indian and works in Nigeria. This scared me a lot since
hiv2 is prevalent in that area. I've read hiv2 is not rendered ineffective through saliva. Please answer this last question for me and i will give this issue a rest. This is my final plea. I'm going to see a psychiatrist this week. Thanks so much. I'm so scared again.

gunther,

Going down on a woman is NOT a risk for hiv infection, no matter if it's 1 or 2.

I'm giving you that time out you've been warned about. Do not attempt to create a new account to get around your time out or you will be permanently banned.
