Title: Can I get an STD from a blowjob?

I recently recieved a blowjob from a striper.  Could I have received an std from the blowjob?  And how soon would I be able to get tested for a 100% accurate answer? How do you get the std from the blowjob?  does the skin absorb the virus? Do i have to have a sore?

Yes, you can get an STD from a blow job. Syphillis, herpes, gonorrhea, chlamydia and NGU (non-gonoccocal urethritis) can all be passed through oral and skin to skin contact.

If symptoms are going to show up they may appear as quickly as in a few days. Like with HIV, it can take up to three months to get an all-clear test result. Symptoms don't always show up noticeably or quickly, which is why we always recommend that anyone who's sexually active should regularly do a full STD panel. Annually is good and every six months is even better. These STDs are much easier to acquire than HIV.

The good news is they can be effectively treated.

sweetie... there are ALOT of STD's  AIDS/HIV are the least of your worries...  What we have is REALLY tough to get.. I would go to the doc and talk to them about your concerns... there are MD's and PHD's here .. but I'm thinkin that your scaring yourself for no reason

  Now you see you guys are so sad I thought he was joking because he posted in the off topic.  The rest of you guys just followed me.   I am sorry Dakota..  I really am.   Can you do a guy a favor though?  Could you give me the name of the hospital the candy striper works at?  Me likey candy stripers, especially if we don't have to have the little talk before hand ::)
