Life as of late
« on: March 23, 2021, 03:33:32 am »
Been a few years I've last been on here. So much has happened that I don't even know how I made it. In 2018 I lost my oldest sister to cancer she was only 50 years old at the time of her passing.
2017 I walked out from a 7,5 year relationship that was more a convenience for him as he just wanted a house mate to look after his house and animals. Sad how we started living past one another, the constant reminder of "how I am to start living life as I am dying of AIDS".
This year is my 15th year living with HIV and still on the 1 pill a day "Atripla" and added to that is Vusor for my cholesterol.
Latest tests done in January 2021: CD4 = 1038, VL = <31 still undetectable all other functions normal as per my Specialist.
The last 4 years I've decided not to go out or be on social media like grindr, manhunt, gaydar with covid that will not be a wise decision to expose myself to something of the unknown. Rather be safe than sorry.....

I find it very hard to deal with so much lately, life feels like a challenge for me the last few months.

Hope and trust all of you are well and in good spirits.

Much Love

Ronnie

Hi Ronnie,

I'm glad to see your CD4 levels and VL are perfect.

Have you considered seeing a therapist to help you out with your mental health?
