slow/non-progressor

So 'someone I know' apparently is a slow/non-progressor, not on meds and somewhat hesitant to speak on the subject.
I realise you (plural) don't diagnose on the internet according to ones symptoms, but might there be a visible cue/s that I ought be aware of that may signal declining health hense insisting on retesting.

Hi Irish,

HIV status is never something to guess about. Is the "someone you know" having his health and numbers being regularly monitored by his/her doctor? That is essential in maintaining good health.

Hi Irish . I agree with Andy, even a slow/non-progressor needs regular monitoring . Its also important to know the difference between a slow and a non-progressor .

If your BF is not comfortable discussing his status with you it is a huge red flag that he is no where near finished doing the work to come to terms with the virus . If he is reckless with his own health it may well impact yours one day so I would insist that this is not one of those things that gets compromised in give and take relationship . I have also found that when I'm dating a person and they don't want to talk about a certain thing its usually not because they suddenly got shy, its because they do not want you to know something .
