Unprotected oral sex but protected intercourse - Showing symptoms on 10th day

Hey guys this is a great forum , i read quite a lot of it as a guest but want to post my concern so i became a member.

So i had unprotected oral sex with a sex worker 12 days ago, she sucked my dick for like 20 seconds after that i told her to stop as this was my first time experience with anyone. Then we had 20 minutes of intercourse using condom, i don't think condom broke or anything like that, i was using durex condom provided by the sex worker , i hope it is a decent one . I also got little herpes on my lips which are getting disappeared slowly(herpes might be because of 3 second kiss by her on my lips) Though i am not much worried about lips herpes as it happened to me before and they disappear after some time.

On 3rd day i was not much worried but did google little bit for the info and found this forum where most moderators and admin say that risk with oral sex is almost 0%. So i was feeling relaxed until i got fever on 9th day(i think this was 3rd time i got fever in last 365 days) so i get fever around 3-4 times per year, and with some research i found that symptoms like fever, cold , sore throat occurs on around 10th day mark. So i am really scared right now! I had fever on 9th day followed by soar throat. After taking medication fever disappeared within 24 hours but i still have some cold and little cough.

Please read all my info and suggest me what to do next. Am i going to be the first person to have hiv with ORAL? i know most people will say no but still need to help and advice. Also i am going to get my first rapid test on 3rd week after exposure and then another one after 3 month mark.

No, you aren't going to make history by becoming the first guy to become infected by having had his dick sucked. Getting a blowjob is absolutely not a risk for HIV no matter what spin of details you put on the event.

You used a condom for intercourse. That's exactly what you are supposed to do. They provide very effective protection.

Stop the what iffing  and get on with your life. You did not have a risk for HIV.

It's not clear from what you have written if you actually had herpes prior to this incident. You should not be having sex with anyone if you are having an active episode of herpes as you can easily pass it along.

regarding herpes, i had them long before(1-2 years ago) when i never even had sex in my lifetime, so this is not something i am worried about, do you think herpes on lips cause things like fever and soar throat, and weakness in body? because right now i am feeling little bit week and get soar throat every morning when i wake up. Do you think these are symptoms of hiv or it is something else?

Those are not HIV-specific symptoms. And since nothing you are reporting of your activities would have put you at risk for HIV I don't see any reason to think HIV is an issue for you. Discuss your symptoms with your doctor.

This is not an HIV situation.

Ok, when do you recommend to get tested? its just been 13 days today, should i go for 2 weeks test? i know you suggested not to get tested but i want to test for for piece of mind as i am not able to sleep for last 3 days due to all this stress. I am in 20's and don't want to get hiv as i am very young

Here's what you need to know in terms of testing if you had a for real risk, which I hasten to repeat you did not have a risk. The average time to seroconversion is 22 days. All but the very smallest number of those who are going to seroconvert will do so within 4-6 weeks after a genuine risk. For a conclusive negative result it is recommended to test at 3months/12-13 weeks past the risk.

If you decide to test strictly for your peace of mind you can decide which testing point will give you that result, since without a risk you are inevitably going to test negative.

You won't need to udate us. It will be negative because you never had an exposure.

i did the test at 6 week mark and results were negative. Today was the 8th week and from past 3-4 weeks i am having some liver problems and also got fatty liver according to ultrasound, i never had any such liver problems ever in my life.

I am planning to have another hiv test at after 3 months to see if i have hiv or not

Unfortunately you are continuing to misinterpret anything that happens with you physically as another sign of the HIV virus. You did not have a risk and when you re-test you're going to collect another negative result.

In the meantime and afterward you should be discussing your physical concerns with your doctor. They have nothing to do with HIV. Really.

No, it doesn't. The hep C virus might, but hiv? NO. Poor diet, alcohol or diabetes are the usual causes behind fatty liver. Not hiv. Particularly NOT primary hiv infection. And no, you didn't get hep C from a blowjob either.

Look mate, you got your dick sucked by a sex worker. Big deal. Get over it. It did not put you at risk for hiv infection. You can test all you like over a blowjob, but you're not going to get a positive result because of it.

Keep working with your doctor to find out what, exactly, is causing your liver to chub out. Whatever that may be, it is NOT hiv. You have ruled hiv out of the picture.
