Title: Door knob situaiton
Post by: Yobobo06 on March 07, 2024, 09:25:21 am
I ve got hair transplant 10 days ago. The clinic called us for to wash head and apply prp to our head. My concern is. Apllication done for me and some other guy at same time. Now i think if they mistakenly mixed our plazmas. If this happened will it be a risk for hiv? They apply the solution to dermis area. Thank you for your time.

"What if" they injected you with someone else's blood product. I presume it's injections during this procedure, hence the concern.

These clinics have procedures to ensure this doesn't happen and the sample has been processed.

Anyhow call the clinic and ask them if they injected you with another person's fluids.

I know it is irrational thought. But i want to learn will it be risk for hiv if this happened. The applied tissue is skin layer and the blood is processed and plasma is gained in order to apply to skin.

Move on with your life. "What ifs" & "Didn't happen" are not things we entertain, however, I've answered you post, so please don't post about this again

I used a public wc. I entered and door nob was wet. I didnt see blood etc. Then i touched my penis to urinate with my wet hand. My penis was a little bit sore and little wounds because of masturbating too much. Will this possess a risk for hiv. Because in door knob anything it can be in wet form. Sperm saliva blood etc. Thank you

Hiya.

Sperm saliva blood etc.

Saliva doesn't contain viable HIV, and it is hostile towards HIV. As for contact with other fluids, it's not an HIV risk when touching a door knop due to various barriers, to name one HIV is fragile and corrodes outside the confines of the human body leaving it unable to infect.

So you had no HIV risk and nobody has ever acquired HIV the way you fear.

In brief, your adult HIV risks are:

* Sex; Condomless intercourse & a minute (theoretical) HIV risk if you give a blowjob.
* Sharing drugs rigs (Syringes)
* Blood products/ transfusions (Rare nowadays in most nations thanks to screening)

Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Talk to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV and getting vaccinated against HPV, Hepatitis A & B.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know.

Kind regards

Jim
