Tomorrow is Presidents Day.

Presidents Day to me always shall be remembered as the day I was diagnosed in 2005.

Two years now.  I'm getting used to it, too... so I suppose that's a good thing.  I'm much more comfortable in my own skin now. 

And now I'm getting dicked over at my job on health insurance.

Februrary is the cruelest month...

It's good to read that you're coming to terms about your diagnosis. It does take time. In fact I would say it's an evolving process, like a lot of other things.

Anyway, wishing you a HEALTHY anniversary.

It really does... and it's quite different from a year ago... I joked about it a lot more than I do now... and that's how I deal with stuff like that.  Now, not so much. 

But it's been a very surprising and very long journey... and one which I don't nearly expect to be over yet.

Thank you for the well wishes Andy!  I think I'll have some delicious Vitamin Water to celebrate it (trying to cut back on drinking somewhat...)!

My 'Official' Diagnosis was three days after Valentines Day.  And I started Meds April 1,  which Possibly Explains My cheerfull outlook.
Must really Bite it to Have Presidents Day Tainted like that,( all puns intentional )  Ill bet we could get them to change it , possibly nearer to Halloween.

It does... and I so used to love Presidents Day... giving my Warren Harding look-a-like blow-up doll the time of its life was always the highlight of Presidents Day for me.

Now... I just think of used car sales and HIV.  Stupid virus...

It's actually my second loathing of Presidents Day... but I suppose I'll lose track of that eventually.

And I do pretend that everything is closed in consideration.  It's an egomaniacal thing I do...  ;)

This is a bad thing because my birthday is 4 September, which is often Labor Day... so I tell everyone they're closed for my birthday, too. 

I don't have many friends.  ;D

Happy Anniversary - I must say, given that I try and keep up with most posters, you are just fucking everywhere and I can never read that much that fast!!  Your zest for living is inspiring to me and just goes to show me that I need to speed up...   

I know you will overcome this adversity in insurance... Your a smart talented young guy whom I can feel good stuff for you and your future...  HAVE NO DOUBTS!

I am very impressed with the way you have handled things, and you are to be commended. Like Eric noted, that "youthful exuberance" is tough to keep up with. Keep it going man, you are on the right track.
