I been taking more and more pics with my iPhone. 

I didn't take pics for a good dozen years when i left my darkroom behind in new york and eventually had my trusty old SLR film camera stolen...

Anyone have a good kinda serious digital DSLR or mirror-less to recommend? Is there some reason not to go mirror-less?

I'm a fellow SLR photo guy. I'm using a five year old Canon DSLR (hope to replace it in 2015) in the Rebel line. I had three Pentax K1000 while a student at Rutgers - one had color print, one Kodachrome and the third Agfa B&W. I miss Agfa color films, the reds so warm, the blues so cold.
