Hello I am New Not Quite Sure How This Works?
« on: February 07, 2018, 11:06:56 am »
Hello There,

My name is Amanda and from the UK I am HIV - but I have supported people with HIV/Aids through my work as a carer. I came on this site because I would love to help in my own way and reach out to anyone that may feel isolated, lonely, need a shoulder to cry on.
I'm non-judgemental and feel so passionate about this site that I would love to do my little bit for this wonderful community.
I also have a wealth of personal experiences which may benefit some of the people that are on here that they too are not alone.
I am also a full- time mature student (well 47 but certainly not over the hill yet) at University. As well as working part-time as a carer/support worker.
If you fancy a chat sometime please come and say hello I do not bite!!

Many thanks for taking the time to read my message

Amanda xx

Hi Amanda,

I am sure many like myself appreciate the thought. This is prehaps not the right forum for you however to contribute, as this is a peer to peer support forum for those living with HIV and hence I am locking this thread.

If you want to support people and as you are based in the UK prehaps asking the tht might be a good start  http://www.tht.org.uk/

Wishing you well

Jim
