Staring a new thread, we decided to try a monthly meeting during our last virtual gathering.

The next virtual meeting will be Friday the 12th of August

don't feel bad. you aren't the only one. My doc and the FirstCare doc both say whatever I have could be a GI bug or a food toxin. I was terribly ill on Tues. Vertigo, tinnitus, severe vomiting, extreme body sweats, chills. Then again on Friday, with all the sweat that staggering about; but without all the vomiting. It really was extremely bad both times and I probably should have called for an ambulance.

I'm sorta better now. Jittery (nerves worrying about it happening again since both episodes came on suddenly? or some ptsd about the "other shoe finally dropping"?), and really light vertigo if I do too much. At least it's not bad enough for me to keep slamming into walls, the floor, or furniture. I have several leftover bruises and cuts from falling during these two episodes.

I kinda have to laugh about slamming into one wall. I was about 12ft away from the bathroom door in the FirstCare waiting area. Of course, I was still vomiting at that point, so when I felt the urge I got up to get to the toilet. I staggered over and smacked right into the wall about 2 ft from the door. Doh! Luckily Larry and i were the only ones there so only the receptionist saw - and she had already seen me stagger into the front desk when Larry helped me in.

The new pupper has learned her name enough to come when I call and has cuddled with me a lot, so most is right with the world even if I am still kinda screwed up. LOL

Absolutely. Sorry, you missed the meeting today. It was the five of us this time round, and you are more than welcome to join in. The next meeting will be in early November.

We will also discuss and plan the December Holiday meeting at the November meeting.

We had puppies (the most dogs in a meeting so far!) and beer (OMG is Saturday at 10am my time to early to join you? I usually wait until noon when Larry starts watching football. LOL) and connection issues (we hoped we squeezed in a good-bye to you Rene as your connection fell apart).

I really enjoyed the meeting and it was great that you were able to join, the more the merrier.
