There is nothing more aggravating than clicking "view unread", finding a juicy thread, and scrolling to the bottom to add my input, only to have the thing locked.
Why leave it up if it is so "offensive"? Why tease us with something we can't respond to? That's annoying as hell.
Peace,
Sam

#1: Before the postings go where they shouldn't there may be something to learn from the information contained in a reply.
#2: A dead-ended thread stands as example of where postings and posters shouldn't go.
Don't sweat the small stuff.

I guess. I respect their opinion on that, but I'm not sure I agree with their policy.

how about starting your own thread about the topic?

omg... it's a trap!

how about start ;Ding your own thread about the topic?
Errr..I assume you are talking about Sam, if so then he did start his own thread, and he got replies to it, he also said although he didn't quite agree he respected their decisions and opinions..so really I don't see any reasons to start "another" thread, do you.
Matty.. it's time to put that other thread to bed now...thanks mate.
Philly...you're too smart to walk into a trap... ;)
