Title: Well...ichose...life

I wrote last month that I was having problems getting my meds and dang if it didn't happen again this month. Finally got someone to confess that there was a shortage ? of HIV meds.

Then I heard it on CNN that I was not alone and that not only were some not getting the meds but that their numbers were being negatively affected by it.

I haven't received my latest lab results, but....just what the heck is going on?

I was denied for SSDI ...again and after 4 years, I --give--up.  I got rEaL depressed over it and couldn't get out of my recliner. Then I threw myself into yard work, which helps me to focus and think....communing with the plants and the bugs.

Then I got mad. Then I came to the proverbial fork in the road: choose: life or death.

ichose...life

I am working online doing all sorts of odd things to make money if you want to know of my successes and failures, I want to know of yours too (I know you're out there) Since I just started, the jury is still out on every thing I've been doing.

Hopefully, I will be Katie's paid caregiver as Myra is going to nursing school and is going to graduate soon and be moving on to bigger and better.....so, I jumped on the opportunity and hopefully it will come to pass.

Wow Ron, sorry to hear about the problem you're having getting your meds, and your denial for social security.  Appeal it (again).  Seriously.

Glad you're choosing life.  How are you doing physically?

Hello Ron,
When you said "shortage of meds" do you know if it is a manufacturing problem?
Do you have to give your numbers when you apply for SSDI? My friends with low cd4s got approved the second time they applied.

Hi Ron
I think I agree with Betty on this.  You probably should keep applying for the SSDI.

I'm in agreement as well, HEY you worked all of your life, and you paid-into-this by way of payroll-deductions
so go ahead and APPEAL, and don't give up Ronnie, what have you got to loose  :)

Hi Ron ... I'm with the others here about applying for your benefits again . We have talked some but I didn't realize you had completely given up the fight .

I realize you are sick and tired of hoping and waiting but this having to wait on meds is making me very fearful for you . What do you think ?

Hey Ron,

I agree, keep after the SS folk regarding disability.

But, I also would pursue being your sister's caretaker. In some ways, I think working, evem of it is part time or in the home, can really uplift a person, not to mention put a few dollars in his pocket.

Hang in there.

HUGS,

Mark

Hey Ron, I've been a caretaker for my other-half for the last 5 yrs., he's a Heart Patient that had a massive Heart attack back in 2002, he also has had Triple-Bypass-Open-Heart-Surgery, and has a very bad back from a work-related-injury back in 94, he had about 5 back surgeries and walks with the assistance of a Cain.

Just 2 weeks ago he under-went Stint-Surgery to unblock both arteries in his Right & Left legs, he's doing just fine, but, still needs my help as a caretaker, so, doing this for your sister, wouldn't be such a bad idea although, I don't get paid for this (due to my SSDI-Income-level) but, I enjoy doing this for my other half The driving, the shopping, cooking, and the cleaning, it gives me something to do with my time, and helps Bob, my otherhalf out a great deal, he tells me EVERYDAY, that he's great full for all my help and support, and wouldn't know what he'd do with-out me, and that's payment enough for me  ;)
