Just to add :
If you want to see a mayor Egypt touristic points I strongly suggest you all to take a boat trip ( 10-12 days ) from Cairo to Aswan...........in that way you can see almost everything and still be relaxed on a boat ..............last year a friend of mine was drinking a champaigne for a New Year at a botanical Kitchener island on a 20 celsius , while in Belgrade was -10............and take an extra money to see all the non-included excursions ( about some 500$ would do ) , because it is worth that money............
When you get in Egypt almost everything is low priced , but to get there is high priced .............( find a low cost air company )
And once again : take a good photo and drink a loooot of water
