Help with a translation please
« on: December 12, 2006, 07:45:06 pm »
I got an email from the clinic.  Actually it is someone at the clinic I joke around with.  He responded with

"qu'est que tu a dit?!"

Does anyone know what this means?  Have the best day
Michael

Hey Michael...

You may want to try: Babel Fish Translator it sounds like it is French. Hope this helps. You may also want to try Spanish as well because of the "tu" in the phrase.

"Don't Give Up, Don't Give In... Cause it is all within you to WIN!"

Thanx Guys,

I used the translation site to word the correct response.

"Avoir une raide superieure levre n'est pas commode en donnant le sexe oral".   My intent was to say, "if I have a stiff upper lip, I can not give you oral sex."  Have the best day
Michael

Did you use the translation site to to translate, "If I have a stiff upper lip, I cannot give you oral sex" and got

"Avoir une raide superieure levre n'est pas commode en donnant le sexe oral."

Those things translate so literally.

Because of the word order of French, and how because those translators literally translate each word without regard to rules or idiom... what you said would be read in English as "to have an upper lip stiff is not convenient in giving oral sex."

Plus, the expression "stiff upper lip" doesn't, to my knowledge, exist in French.
So, he was probably confused.
Your tastebuds can't repel flavor of this magnitude!

And they will have some fun just trying to figure out what the other person was saying - great ice breaker...I have to remember that...not that I have any reason for an ice breaker :)
And I wished for guidance, and I wished for peace
I could see the lightning; somewhere in the east
And I wished for affection, and I wished for calm
As I lay there - Nervous in the light of dawn

A stiff upper lip , how British- me thinks there were other stiff body parts n'est pas?
I saw this book where you can ask for all kinds of sex in English/ Spanish- things like "take off the hand cuffs"
When having social intercourse with a guy who doesn't speak my lingo I always go for non verbal communication myself- it works well! ;)

He likes it when I talk dirty, says it makes him horny.  I once put my phone number in his pocket, told him to write H.I.P.A.A. on his dick and when it reads Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 to come over and we can talk about it until we are both completely satisfied.  I think his BF likes it when I do that too.  Have the best day
