Post by: bryonut on July 12, 2007, 03:01:23 am
With the recent onset of insomnia I have been watching a great deal of late night TV. I was browsing the guide when I came across the following titles:

The Man Whose Arms Exploded

Well,.....at least you didn't have to endure the days when "The Flying Nun" aired as a TV series.

The Man Whose Arms Exploded

The Boy Whose Skin Fell Off

They sound like documentaries on medical anomalies. I watched an 1.5-hour BBC feature last Sunday morning, they were investigating into the situation of women with a moustache (I was bored). Can't remember the title though but it was somewhere along those lines.

Mother, May I Sleep With Danger ?....a gripping documentary of my life starring Tori Spelling.

I was pushing for Steve Kelso to play ME, but Tori was cheaper and needed the work.

The man whose arms exploded is about someone who took way too many steroids and his body reacted in some very scary ways. I haven't seen it but someone told me about it. Don't know what the other is about.

Steve Kelso WOOF!

Completely off topic: I think my partner and I were the only ones who actually enjoyed So NoTORIous. Here's a clip with Tori's best friend, Zachary Quinto from Heroes, in his attempt to be straight: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah_crvR5wqA&NR=1 (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ah_crvR5wqA&NR=1)

I loved The Flying Nun. I always found the convent car with the wooden panelling fascinating as I'd never seen anything like it here. And, I like Sister Bertril immensely, enough to make me watch an episode or two or Brothers and Sisters (YUK) before they started showing the British program, Torchwood, out here.

I think my favorites were Bewitched and I Dream of Jeannie.  I've been accused of living in a fantasy world once or twice.. ;)

Yes, when I was having terrible insomnia I was watching it on TV land. I don't know if they do anymore or not, I'm not up at that hour either.  I think they followed Bewitched with I Dream of Jeannie.  They were great!
