Anybody Had Any Temple Or Forehead Treatments?
« on: November 13, 2006, 09:59:52 pm »
Has anyone had any fillers injected into their temple and forehead?  By temple, I'm talking about all the way from the soft spot in the temple to the top of that corner of the forehead.  I had a sculptra treatment which was a great success.  Took just one treatment and I got about 1/8 inch thickness over my cheeks.  That's all I wanted even though the doc wanted to do more.
Now, from the temple to the corner of the top of my forehead is thinning w/veins obviously protruding... especially when I exercise.  I've been given the nickname "herman munster" in reference to the oversize vein protruding from the side of my head after a good run on the treadmill.
If anyone has tried lasers for skin thickening, I'm all ears to learn about that as well.

thanks

I had Dr. Casavantes inject PMMA in my cheeks, chin, and temples about 10 days ago.  I've had Sculptra in all those areas over the last 2 years.  The vein was showing on one of my temples.  So far I am really happy with the PMMA.  It doesn't seem to get lumpy like the Sculptra, and you need fewer treatments to look "full".

My understanding is that fillers don't really work in the forehead because the skin is too thin.  I'd love to be proved wrong, though, because my forehead could use some work.
