Out of my Stribild Medication, Can anyone help?
« on: January 01, 2014, 01:07:46 pm »
Hey you guys, hope you are having a great new year. I am newly HIV positive. It will be a year on the 24th of this month.  I started taking Stribild in March and I have taken it faithfully everyday. Just recently I lost my job and with it lost my benefits. I had a 3 month supply of Stribild left. I found a new job but they have informed me that my benefits would not kick in until after the first. Yesterday I took my last pill and I have called the pharmacy and my doctor to ask for samples and etc and no one has been able to help. My employer informed me that that will start benefits deduction from payroll on January 8th and then once I pay the first premium I can start using my benefits. So I am asking is there anyone in the Atlanta, GA area that can help with 2 weeks worth of pills. It would be greatly appreciated. Also what are the repercussions of me not taking my meds for two weeks??

Welcome to the forum . I wishing you the best of luck and hope you can find your meds . I'm sure you have already done it but please call all the Aids support orgs in your area and see if they have any donated meds to offer .

My Id doctor's office keep medication in the office for special situations like this.  You might want to give them a try.
