Title: I feel good now
Post by: fabio on March 29, 2019, 01:52:53 am
After my panic with all the shingles and the cold and fever,I feel better.
I did take the advice and contacted the non profit org for hiv/aids and they recommended I talk, even if it was on the phone with someone. They did give me good advice on dealing with the panic attacks and accepting taking my meds and all that.
What I realised panicking and getting overly anxious makes you a lot sicker than hiv.
That's basically all. I felt like saying that 😅😅😅. So thanks :)

I had shingles 25 years ago . My ID doc told me they usually only occur on one side of your body for some reason. I had them on the right side of my face. when it cleared up I got them on left side of my face. My ID doc told me that this was highly unusual . i thought at least I have balance and the spots well they make me look more interesting more of an individual and unique . now twenty five years later I have to look very close to see them. the rest of my face definitely looks like a man of 54 and a half years old now

I hope you find this helpful and all the best to you

Thanks a lot.
Yeah my doc told me that it can get in the face too and that stress and great sadness usually triggers it. He said if I get the same symptoms ,to start the same pills 3 times a day soon as I get that tingle.
Although I doubt it will be anytime soon, because I'm giving it my best to calm myself and feel more at ease, take the whole thing less panicky.
After I calmed down I seemed to not just feel psychologically better, but improved my sleep,my physical activity and generally my mood.
Even if I get shingles,or anything else,I will be ready for it,no matter the situation I'll keep my head up.

My stress that might have caused shingles was My tcells were falling and they had said this new thing called viral load  . I did now if anything would be there to help keep me alive. I had thought my life would last five years then HIV would take my life and that time was up. I thought OK death is knocking at my door just any moment to take me away. that was about twenty five years again something you should not have to worry about if I can live this long with each new med being something hopeful through progress. those of us already on this road who have marked the trail . you should have no trouble finding your way as long as you stay safe and be careful life should be just as rewarding as a life without HIV .

just saying

sorry if this is not as clear as I might like it is quarter after midnight here and I had a very busy day .
I like many old people got up to relieve my bladder and thought I might read some stuff online before going back to bed.

Yeah, this all is just another hurdle of life that we have to get through. Hiv or not life is weird, but that's the beauty of it all. I also find myself not feeling like anything weighs me down anymore, that I have grown up ☺.
The weird thing is starting work (night shift hotel reception) and it scares me a little,at least I don't get over anxious about it,it's just the dreadful thought of dealing with drunks haha.
