Generic Dolutegravir in Thailand
« on: May 08, 2020, 03:01:23 am »
Hi everyone

Can anyone who has updated ART list in Thai red cross kindly show us the latest list? I read somewhere in the internet that generic DTG will be available in Thailand by early 2020. and probably it will also come in 3-in-1 TLD based tablets (DTG+TDF+FTC). Is it available for purchase in Thailand already?

Thank you.

There is a push to get the T/L/D meds approved.  Don't like in Africa.  But not happening yet.

Yes I read some medical conference slides somewhere that TLD is going to be available by early 2020 and they are pushing for it. I was quite surprised that Thailand with large HIV populative is lagging behind other S.E asian countries in approving TLD regime.

I sent an enquiry to Mylan Thailand and the Mylan representative confirmed that both generic Dolutegravir alone and Acriptega  (Dolutegravir+Tenovofir+Lamivudine) are available in Thailand now.

It will soon be available in Thailand. With Covid-19 issues there is a delay on logistics.

Atlanta Medicare in Bangkok advertises that the have generic descovy and the T/L/D pill from Mylan.  They are a pharmaceutical wholesaler.

Perhaps contact them to find out which hospitals or clinics they supply.
