unprotected vag sex 9th week test negative

im sorry for my english.

i had a 5mins - 10mins unprotected vag sex with CSW, after 2 days i got fever with sore thoat and cough and phlegm for four days but i can still able to go for work.
then after 1week i felt something itchy in my urethra that last for a week and my urethra become swollen and i also need to urinate frequently. i went to a doctor and he said i have UTI, he prescribed me ciproflaxacin, i felt nauseous for 1 week (maybe because of adverse side effect of ciproflaxacin)
on the 3rd week after the exposure i had colds for maybe 2weeks. although maybe it is really cold in our place. then I felt better on the 4th week although i'm experiencing some muscle pain.
in the end of 5th week I felt sick again, i went to the hosp and the Doctor do CBC and THYPIDOT and it came out that i was positive of salmonella IgG and IgM. the doctor said that i have THYPOID FEVER. I was hospitalized for 5 days. while in the hosp. i experiencing night sweats that last up to 8th week after exposure. i also felt on and off tingling in my arms and feet since 4th week up to 7th week. i also have red spot on my skin since 2nd week until now(10th week after exposure) about 1mm-3mm but they usually appear on my arms, thigh, and legs only (i dont see any of them on my torso or back). everyday i noticed 1-3 new red spot. it is flat but after a day it become raised and it scars after it heals.

i went to a clinic on 9th week then they draw blood on me. my blood was transfer to other clinic where they do the HIV test and it came back non-reactive. i dont know what kind of test they did. it only indicate SD HIV KIT.

is this kit  reliable?
it is possible that my thypoid fever was misdiagnosed for hiv infection?

to add up. i felt like my lymph node in my right groin, left armit and below the jaw line are swollen.

There is no way to be diagnosed with HIV that early and the only way to know your status is by taking an HIV test. Your symptoms came on to early to be related to HIV.

i did hiv test on 9th week and it came back negative. i know it is not conclusive but it is a good indicator right?

The vast majority of people who have actually been infected will seroconvert and test positive by six weeks, with the average time to seroconversion being only 22 days. A six week (or more) negative must be confirmed at the three month point, but is highly unlikely to change.

I do not expect your nine week negative to change, although you must confirm at the three month point.

You seriously need to learn from this and stop having unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse - with ANYONE. It's not only sex workers who may be hiv positive or have other STIs.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

thanks ann, im waiting for my 3mos mark. anyway how long does hiv rash last? its been 7weeks or 8 weeks im having this red spots in my thigh, arms, and legs. i notice new red spot every day. i hope its jus a mosquito bite.

There's no way the hiv rash could be mistaken for a mozzie bite. It doesn't last as long as yours has anyway - it's probably something to do with one of the other things you actually have been diagnosed with. Discuss your rash with your doctor - it's nothing to do with hiv.

Again, I do NOT expect your nine week negative to change and neither should you.

what is my chance of catching hiv with that single exposure?

You've more chance of winning millions on the lottery on your very first try. Have people won the lottery their first time? Sure, but it rarely happens.

Symptoms - or even the lack of symptoms - mean nothing when it comes to diagnosing hiv. ONLY testing at the appropriate time will reliably inform you of your hiv status.

And anyway, you HAVE been diagnosed with salmonella and typhoid fever, but yet you're convinced that your symptoms are being caused by hiv? Get a grip. You've already had an explanation for your symptoms.

Your nine week negative is HIGHLY unlikely to change. You're more likely to find a bag full of money on your doorstep tomorrow morning than you are to go on to test positive now. So chill out.
