Poems by Mini
« on: October 28, 2009, 02:44:31 pm »
As part of her curriculum, Mim has been reading poetry and drawing pictures about what the poems mean to her.  The other day, she came in and read 3 poems that she'd written herself.  She wanted to share them with you.

"Fun Day"

Fun day, fun day
It's always fun to play day
There's always a chance to say,
"Happy fun day!"

We can go outside and play today
Do you want to make this a happy day for me?

"Bright Sun"

Bright sun, bright sun
Who's always my sun

Bright sun, bright sun
Just a hop in the lake

Bight sun, bright sun
who is always full of blue fun
Bright sun, what a happy day to play.

"Little Bear Cheer Up"

Little Bear cheer up, Little Bear cheer up
There's nothing wrong,
So sing a song
There's lots to do for everyone.

Let's go outside and play
Because it's a beautiful day.
You can play with your friends
So Little Bear, cheer up.

Hope you enjoyed these poems by me.

it's been a gray rainy day here all day  :( until just as I was reading your "Bright Sun" poem, then sudenly the sun came out from behind the clouds!  ;D I think I'll wake up my doggies, who have been inside sleeping away a rainy day, and we'll go have a fun day and play out in the sun.

Thanks for such happy poems! :-*

Mini,

Please, please never stop writing!  We love your poems because they cheer up those who read them.  And you know that many days those of us who read here on the Forums need to be cheered up often.

Love and hugs to you (we know that you don't kiss - germs),  Ric & Thom
