Hi,

As I previously read,

I know that during protected vaginal sex when condom gets a small hole or have a small hole,
it immediately shreds and fails, that way become obvious to both partners.
This is because during protected vaginal sex there is a very strong
stress on the condom which causes any small hole to shred the condom immediately.

I am a male,
and have a general question about condom breakage when using one condom for first getting protected blowjob
and then protected vaginal sex with the same condom.

My questioin is about condom breakage during protected blowjob.
If during protected blowjob a massive teeth rubbing  is applied on condom
and creates a small hole in condom.
Will the condolm always shred immediately after the small hole is created during protected blowjob?

Or the condom might stay with the small hole without shreding during the protected blowjob,
and it will only shred after moving to protected
vaginal sex when there is a much stronger stress on the condom.
And in this situation I might be in danger for HIV,
this becuase the condom breakage happens during vaginal sex(HIV risk activity)
and not during blowjob(not HIV risk activity).

My personal opinion is that during protected blowjob the condom will not always be shred
when a small hole is created from teeth rubbing,
this is because the strees on condom during protected blowjob is much lower
than the stress on condom during protected vaginal sex.

I would appreciate to know your opinion about this issue from your professional experience
so that I know to take the appropriate precuations
in future when using only one condom for first  getting blowjob and then vaginal sex.

Thank you for your time and knowladge.

Hiya,

I think you answered your own question and are overthinking things. Let's keep this simple.

Receiving a blowjob, with or without a condom lacks the conditions required for acquiring HIV,  thus it makes sense that after nearly 40 years of this pandemic in terms of BJ's there hasn’t been a single documented case of HIV transmission to an insertive partner (the person being "sucked") and you will not be the worlds first.

You did not acquire HIV from this activity, that much is certain.

As for using the same condom during the intercourse, HIV can't transmit through an intact latex or polyurethane condom. If a condom fails during the act of intercourse it's obvious, there is no reason to be stressing or testing outside of standard routine as long as this obvious issue of a shredded condom during intercourse did not happen.

So if this was your only sexual interaction then relax, move on with your life, stop thinking about it and test as everyone should out of routine at least yearly for STI's

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection going forward

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Kind regards

Jim

Hi Jim,

Thank you for your reply.

I have read it carefully and understood your answers.

I am relax and know I do not have HIV risk in my last event
since condom remained intact after vaginal sex.

I would appreciate your further reference about
my theoretical question just to get knowloage about condom
mechanics:

I will repeat it shortly :

When using one condom for first getting protected blowjob
and then protected vaginal sex with the same condom.

Thanks again

All the best

Already addressed.

Look you got a BJ and used the same condom for sex. With or without a condom getting your penis sucked is no HIV risk to whatsoever, as for the condom if it had holes in it or had been weakened to the point of being an issue from the BJ it would have broken during the intercourse from the stress.

So what I wrote is correct :

A condom might stay with a small hole
without shreding during a protected blowjob,

and it will only shred after moving to protected
vaginal sex when there is a much stronger stress on the same condom.

I know that ofcourse the condom might also shred with a small hole
during protected blowjob especially when it is very rough.

Just want to understand if it is possible that a condom
stays with a small hole
without shreding during the protected blowjob?

Could a condom get a hole during a BJ, I suppose so but as said with or without a condom getting your penis sucked is not an HIV risk.
