Title: indeterminate ?
Post by: whoknew on July 15, 2011, 10:31:44 am
hi to all of you ladies.

I have had my little baby boys first test back my nurse rang and said alls well it was negative, his six week one has come back indeterminate ? I think that means the same as negative because of course he will carry my antibodies but they have messed this test up so often now I honestly cant remember what it means.

It hasnt come back positive so thats good ! he had a dna pcr test done no one seems to be able to read the results properly as they changed all the codes they use.

Im not too worried as I know he is negative this is all just confirming stuff we already know but its nicer when its a bit more clear cut !!

no reason for the post really other than I have no one else to rant about this sort of thing to !

xx

It was the drs receptionist that called not my normal nurse who knows how to read these things so this is why I cant get a definate response on it I wasnt even thinking about it until she called Im not even sure what it has to do with her really.

who, indeterminate antibody tests can occur for all sorts of reasons and are quite often false readings. You'd be wise to wait until you can talk to the nurse who knows her stuff before you dwell on this too much. Hang in there! :)
