Thank You !!!!

Hi Andy,

Just to let you know, I had an unprotected BJ from a strip-dancer couple of weeks ago. I am married and I am a parent as well, so imagine the amount of guilt and stress. Anyway, your site and your answers (together with those of Ann and others) have been really helpful to keep my mind calm. Each time I feel nervous, I come back to the forum and read that receiving a BJ has no risk (notwithstanding whatever blood and other factors you get into the mix) and I recover my objective mind and loose my “what if” many scenarios. This site together with other serious sites that have from “minimum risk” “1 in 20,000” to “don’t loose sleep” are helpful to us in stressful situations and help us dismiss the “one little drop of blood will do it” ”micro-wounds will do it” sites.

Anyways, my situation is no different and I will get no new answers from you guys, I will still get tested at 6 and 13 weeks for my peace of mind, but I just wanted to stop by and thank you for having the interest and patience to attend all of us and for having a Spanish language section (great for us Spanish spoken) and this is my question: how can I re-pay or give back the amount of help your answers have provided? can I donate some money or contribution to the site/organization?

Regards from Mexico.

You're welcome. It's good to know that you have found using the site to be so helpful when you needed it.

If your only risk was getting a blowjob then you didn't have any real risk at all for HIV and your negative results are going to be a slam dunk. But I can understand that guilt and anxiety can be such that only that negative test result in hand will satisfy you.

This site does not accept donations but I do appreciate your offer. I suggest you get in touch with any AIDS Service organization in Mexico for suggestions about where to make a donation.

Saludos!

TY,

You can find hiv/aids organisations in Mexico by using the organisation search page at aidsmap.com.

And as Andy says, getting a blowjob is not a risk and if you do go ahead and test, you can be sure of a negative result.

Dear Ann and Andy,

I ignore if you keep record of the posted cases when the information is provided. In any event, I am sure it nice to have posts not only asking for help but also feeding back results. I got my 6 weeks Negative result today and, although I have not yet decided to do it at the 13 weeks mark, I know that being in a low risk exposure and having this 4th generation Negative result, is truly an optimistic and reliable situation.

Any way, thank you again for all the information and support to all posters and hope to give you a Negative result in 6 more weeks, if I finally decide to do it for a 100% assurance.

Regards,

Guillermo

Even though I never expected anything other than a negative result for you, it's still always a happy thing to get that. If you decide to test again it is a certainty that you will test negative again.

Cheers.
