Protectex sex but unprotected mutusl mssturbation
« on: December 06, 2019, 01:02:20 pm »
Hello i am a male had protected sex with unknown female in bar
The risk i had is that i did not finish so she took off condom with bare hands and started masturbating me. I am worried because I am uncircumsized. Which i read is higher risk.

Hiya,

You had no HIV risk from getting a handjob, as in none whatsoever!

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider starting PrEP as an additional layer of HIV protection going forward

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Kind regards

Jim

But does my condition of uncircumsized put me at highrr risk due to vaginal secretions being thrre while she masturbated me. She hsd plenty of vahinal secretions from takng off condom and it was at most 10 seconds she started masturbsting me. Why does it say all over the internet that uncircumsize doubles your risk. How does this increase my risk?

uncircumsize doubles your risk

2 x 0 = 0  The last time I checked.

Not sure what paranoid nonsense you are reading to come up with a different number from doubling nothing.

The handjob was no HIV risk as sexually HIV is not transmitted once exposed outside the human body as the receptors needed to infect human cells corrode leaving it unable to infect you. So whatever the condition of your penis, it's irrelevant and whatever trace fluids you came into contact with it was irrelevant, besides that it also lacks a few more of the conditions required to transmit HIV.

In short, 2 x 0 = 0  ;) If this was your only sexual encounter, then move on with your life!

Now if you were to engage in unprotected intercourse, then some studies have shown (suggested) that circumcision might reduce odds. It's not that uncircumcised increases your risks and even with circumcision unprotected intercourse is still not risk-free by far, so just use a Condom and/or PrEP instead would my vote, anyhow point being you first need to have a risk to double it.

Ok so i understand that outside of the body there is no way you can get hiv even with excessive mssturbation with vaginsl secretilns. One other question is it true that vaginal secretion present when woman is excited do not hive hiv or is this false?

Correct

It's true that the fluid a woman produces when sexually excited comes from the Bartholin's glands, this is a lubricating fluid and does not have any more hiv present than other bodily secretions such as saliva, sweat or tears.  Saliva, sweat and tears are not infectious fluids.

Cervical mucus, so deep inside the vaginal track does have levels of HIV

I had other questions about possible exposures. If i had protected sex and in that exposure i got herpes above penus shaft (NOT COVERED BY CONDOM). DOES THIS INCREASE MY RISK of acquiring hiv? After this incident i did gave a 6 week antibody test which was negative

No

Relax and move on with your life, continue to use condoms no exceptions for intercourse and test at least yearly out of standard routine for STI's

So herpes does not make a differece if i used condom correctly. With this 6 week antibody test is also highly reliable? Also would it make a difference if menstrual blood was present?

Herpes outbreak on your shaft is not going to lead to HIV transmission to you with correct condom usage. Herpes or sores on the end of your penis during unprotected intercourse might increase the already existing risk.

Move on with your life, stop looking for issue.

BTW the fact that you had a herpes outbreak after the intercourse does not mean you aquired it from this encounter either

Coincidence, you had and still have herpes from before this encounter.  It just has had a dormant period when there are no visible sores, this can last months or even many years. It's a virus you have for life.

Keep in mind that even when you don't have visible sores (asymptomatic) periods you can still spread herpes during skin to skin contact through a process known as viral shedding. If you have not yet seen your doctor I recommend you do to confirm herpes and also to get some drugs to reduce the duration of the outbreak

Best. Jim

Ok i understand and luckily i have had no visible sores since that ocassion almost 10 years.
To summarize my risks
No risk from mutusl masturbation due to no hiv found in vaginsl wecretion when woman is excited plus hiv is out of human body
No risk from protected sex even if herpes sore appared 2or 3 days later on shaft above penus hair
No risk from protected sex if some menstrual blood is present and finished with masturbation with maybe some menstrusl blood on her hand

No, coming into contact with cuts, scrapes and minor wounds is not an HIV concern.

Unless you were both half-bleeding to death with deep wounds, an example would be a knife fight requiring urgent medical attention this was not an HIV risk.

Not sure what has triggered this HIV fear in you but put it behind you and if you can't put it behind you then I recommend seeking face to face support to help you move on

Hiya

8-10 years ago! What you posted is not an HIV concern but if you have been otherwise sexually active during the decade then you should also be looking after yourself by testing out of standard routine at least yearly for HIV and far easier to transmit STI's.

monogamous relationship

Obvious perhaps but I have to mention that if you have been engaging in unprotected intercourse with your partner this would as example meet all the biological conditions needed for acquiring HIV.

Now I don't judge couples that decide to engage in unprotected intercourse, it's often based on trust within a relationship, however, just note this trust or faith does not prevent HIV and any unprotected intercourse is simply accepting a possible risk to you of acquiring HIV.

Asides form HIV, if no unprotected intercourse has occurred i.e if you have been using condoms consistently and correctly no exceptions you should still be tested yearly for STI's.  See the levels of protection for various STIs also depends greatly on differences in how the diseases or infections are transmitted.  Some infections (Not HIV) are transmitted primarily by skin-to-skin contact, which may infect areas not covered by a condom (human papillomavirus [HPV] infection, syphilis, and chancroid).

On top of that, the other concern is some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's

Test regularly.

This is irrelevant.  Unless she was tested and than locked up 24/7, I presume this is not the case. Now I understand your concern was past encounters but as said they were not HIV risks leaving just the relationship as exposure and the recommendation to test yearly as you are sexually active.

Bit of a random question is it not?

Anyhow, if someone truly noticed seroconversion illness they would also already be producing detectable antibodies.

Not that it matters as most people don't or don't notice seroconversion symptoms, so the lack or presence of symptoms is irrelevant hence if you had a risk the only way to know your status is by testing at the appropriate time.

Not "when" but "If" they have true HIV seroconversion symptoms they would also already be producing detectable antibodies.

However, no way to know if it's truly seroconversion symptoms and neither does the lack of symptoms mean anything as the vast majority have none. Hence regardless of symptoms or not if anyone had a risk the only way to know their status is by testing outside of the window period

Very funny, All asked and answered already and then wasting both our times by asking the same in a long outdrawn different way, the answer remains the same of course  ::)

Let's make this very clear, your left testical could have fallen off it would not be HIV related from that concerned event regardless of test results as the concerned event was no HIV risk - Hope that helps clarify.

If you ever do have a real risk test at 6 weeks post-exposure with a blood-drawn HIV antibodies test a negative result will rarely ever change, although, you can retest if you wish at 3 months for a definite result

The only real and ongoing HIV risk you have is sex with your partner, a risk you seem happy to accept. I recommend condoms, but whatever you do test regularly!

If you post about no-risk situations again, or things that have been asked and answered already it's going to lead to a 28-day ban to encourage you to move on with your life!

This will be my last question. If you loose weight due to hiv can you gain it back and does loosing weight happen in last stages when your wbc would be low and practically be considered to have aids

This new question is the same as the fears posted earlier, that relate to your no-risk situation 8-10 years ago that you have also tested negative over.

Ok i just wanted to be sure. I did not think twice about these incidents but a few months ago i lost some weight (no fever and no diahrea) so i starting thinking about incidents 8_10 years back. I am now almost at normal weight so feel better just wanted to make sure

Asked and answered, and I'm sorry that you seem to have this irrational fear or some sort of paranoia, I really recommend you consider speaking to a therapist to help you learn to cope.

Quote

28-day ban

Anyone who continues to post excessively, questioning a conclusive negative result or no-risk situation, will be subject to a four week Time Out (a temporary ban from the Forums). If you continue to post excessively after one Time Out, you may be given a second Time Out which will last eight weeks. There is no third Time Out - it is a permanent ban. The purpose of a Time Out is to encourage you to seek the face-to-face help we cannot provide on this forum.

Sure, but think wisely because I'm not in the mood for games, symptoms or no-risk situations with you.

From your posts the only HIV risk was sex with your partner, a risk you a presume are both happy to accept, so at the very least test yearly.

Jim

Just want to be clear to close this chapter.
If i had protected sex with me and female partner both having herpes but my herpes being above penus hairs about 2 inches from penus shaft with condom this makes 0 difference and my risk will be zero even if she was recently infected. This being true because condom protected sex is alwsys safe even with herpes or high viral loads due to recent infections. And after this episode I had normal antibody test 6 weeks after incident and tested negative.  Please help me with this i just got worried because of herpes and i being uncircumsized

This has been asked and answered, you have to apply the information already provided to you. Consider the topic now closed.

If you can't move on with your life, I am sorry to hear that but then I recommend seeking professional face to face support to help you cope with your fears and for whatever emotional trauma herpes seems to have triggered.

It's not something I can assist you within this setting.

Finally, keep the below in mind:

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider starting PrEP going forward as an additional layer of protection against HIV

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as safe in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other easier to transmit STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Yes i understand they were answered but i just added that both partners had herpes. So my only question is if both male and female had herpes especially herpes 2 inches above penus shaft
This will make no difference if condom was used. This only increases risk without condom and especially with my 6 week negative antibody test. This is the only question i have
