ANYONE FROM PHILIPPINES WHO COULD LEND ME 2 days DOSE OF PILLS?

I wasn't able to go to the doctor for the refill of my monthly pills, due to my schedule in school and I wasn't updated by my doctor because I lost my phone. I now only have 1 day dose of drugs, nevipan, avocomb and isoniazid. I texted the doctor's assistant if i could go and refill my pills tomorrow and she texted back that the office is not open tomorrow. And i ask back , if she could recommend someone who is near my place so that I can borrow some pills, but there's no reply. anyone who could lend me a 2 days dosage of pills?

Hi Young,

The smartest of our site members about meds haven't seen your post yet as regards the half-lives of your meds. I did take a look and it appears Nevipan has a long one of 45 hours whereas Avocomb (lamivudine and zidovudine) is considerably shorter at 7 and 3 hours maximum, respectively. The Isoniazid half-life in Asian people is typically shorter than Caucasians' and Blacks' usage at about 2 to 5 hours.

I don't want to mislead you by having looked up info most anyone could find, but I think you've just got to wait this out and get your dosing back on track as quickly as possible. Also discuss the timing with your doctor and get his/her opinion. Unless you truly know who you're dealing with, "borrowing" meds adds another two layers of risk you don't need. As you know stressing over this isn't going to fix it or make you feel any better physically.

Moving forward, don't rely on anyone but you for cues that you need refills. Get a pillbox and use it. Note on the calendar what day you should be re-ordering so that you don't end up in this situation again. And you might consider taping or writing a note on the pill container, too.
