Memorial Service Sunday August 11th Information
« on: April 24, 2013, 08:10:29 pm »
Hey guys, thought I would start poking around on suggestions for the time/venue for the Chicago Memorial Service.

We nailed it down to Sunday, any suggestions on the time?

Any Ideas on venues? Feel free to chime in especially you Chicago locals

I'll start checking around with the local ASO's in the meantime.

OK guys and gals,

I've got tentative approval from TPAN Chicago to use their facilities for our Memorial Service. They are just checking to make sure there is a room available for us and that there will be a coordinator there for us on that Sunday. I told them we are shooting for a 1pm'ish time frame. When I get it firmed up I will advise.

TPAN is located just off the Metro CTA line, so it should be easily accesible.

TPAN website http://www.tpan.com/

Does this all sound ok?

I had a call scheduled in to Ryan VanMeter with TPAN "after the 4th", so I called today and we are definately confirmed for August 11th. There was some issue about them moving that he needed to work through, but he advised me today that they will still be in the old building on that day.

Scheduled for 1pm, but can be moved up or down if need be...just let me know.

OK -- first things first -- what the HELL is that avatar??  I am fairly certain that you could lose your Texan citizenship if that things gets noticed by the powers that be in Austin...........

You can use me for a POC -- I'll work with Gary around the details of the day.  Thanks for doing this -- although, you SHOULD be attending with us.  ;)

A PM is forthcoming -- although, you DO have my cell number.

thanks Mike...we will work together on the logistics.  Since I will be away most of Saturday (return Saturday evening) I would feel more confident if someone in town was the contact.  Already working on my message for the service.

Thanks for getting the remembrance thread started.

Willy, that avatar is too much!  Really sorry we won't see you this time.  It has been way too long....

What does it need to be bigger? I can make it bigger. ;)

Also, I know it goes without saying...but they are allowing us to use their facilities free of charge, so as we do every year a little donation would be nice for them after the service. If you can give, do so. If you cant fine  ;)

Ok, Ok, I will bow out now and turn it all over to Mike! Hugs!
