Keep all the snow your way Jan.

The summer heat is here and finally it has started to rain here in the mountains.

The grass is almost dead and the weeds are growing like crazy.

Thanks to Global Warming our winters are getting shorter around here.

Just think San Francisco is just 58 days away and counting. :-*

I'll see if I can send some of our 90+ (32+ in Celsius) degree heat your way.  The only catch is humidity and mosquitoes will be included!

Thanks for cooling me down this morning. That is a cool picture but we finally got some rain so I'm happy with our hot and humid summer.

Hey Sweet one:

KABURGERS!   :o

The tree is beautiful right now with all that ice coating the branches, but the real risk of damage will come when the ice actually begins to melt.

Stay warm!  (If you can.)   ;)

I got the answer :D

Hopefully SF will be warmer !!

Ick.  As beautiful as the tree is, I detest cold weather.  If I could, I'd fly down your way every December and stay until March.  I already got a mild sense of dread the other day when I realized we're already on the downward sllide time-wise...days are getting shorter.  Blech.

I'll stop complaining about how cold it is here now Jan. That tree is beautiful, but there is no way I would be leaving the house in such conditions.

You will go and live in the far south of NZ. Beautiful, yes, but, brrrrr

Rab, Jan has a football helmet to wear when she begins to thaw, I meant to say when it begins to thaw. ;)

She'll need a second helmet to put over her butt Rodney.  She's been sliding down the hillside on her backside!   :o

It's all true, but what Rab failed to mention was it was an unintentional butt slide, I was making my way down to bring the Alpacas up to the holding pens when I lost my foot hold and went sliding down the hill on my backside thank god we had put up a new fence line a few months ago or I would have ended up in the creek... again.. :D

The rains have started now I'm pleased to say, it has taken away some of the cold weather but the melt down has begun and parts of the garden are now water logged, but it will soon dry out.

I'm really looking forward to some SF sun.

Hugs
