HIV RISK?

About two weeks ago I left home with a man. First thing I asked was if he was HIV Negative, and he assured me he was. So here is the story...
 
I am a virgin so when he asked if we could have sex I said no, so he said it was fine. We kissed one time, he sucked on my nipples and that was that. Later he asked if he could penetrate me, and I said no once again. Then he asked if he could just rub his penis inbetween my buttcheeks, with no penetration I agreed. While I layed on my back he did his thing, he moved up and down for a bout a miniute without penetrating me and then I felt his semen. He cleaned himself off, then cleaned the semen off around my anus area. I tasted semen off the toilet paper. When I did that I got up and put my clothes on. About 5 minitutes later I went to the restroom and cleaned of the sticky feeling off of my buttcheeks are that I felt. My question is, am I at risk for HIV? mucous membrane is a topic that scares me, I am sure he did not penetrate because I would of felt it. But his semen was around my anus. Could I have pushed some in when I cleaned it off with the toilet paper? I washed when I got home, but I dont think that makes a diffrence. Where is the mucous membrane located, can ejaculation around the anus area reach it? Please help, I am scared, I really am. This was only two weeks ago so I have to wait for the 90 day mark to have a conclusive answer. Thank you

1. You never had an exposure and don't need testing.
2. HIV is unable to reproduce outside its living host (unlike many bacteria or fungi, which may do so under suitable conditions), except under laboratory conditions; therefore, it does not spread or maintain infectiousness outside its host.
 
HIV is transmitted by;
Unprotected penetrative anal and/or vaginal sex
Sharing works with other IV drug abusers
Mother to child

Just to add, what you experienced was frottage. It is not a risk for HIV.

HIV cannot remain infectious in an aerobic atmosphere. The trifecta of oxygen, pH changes and temperature destroy it's fragile outer shell, thus making it incapable of infecting.

Asking people about their hiv status is never going to protect you from hiv infection. What WILL protect you against hiv infection is assuming anyone you are intimate with is hiv positive and protecting yourself accordingly by using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse. That's all you need to do.

Asking people what their hiv status is doesn't work unless the person is hiv positive, KNOWS they're hiv positive and TELLS you they are hiv positive. You simply cannot trust an "I'm not positive" answer, regardless of how sincere and honest the person seems to be.

Many people don't accurately know their hiv status and only assume they're hiv negative. Some people will lie. Wrap it up every time and you won't have to worry about hiv.

Frottage (rubbing genitals together or on some part of the body without penetration) is not a risk, as the guys have already told you.

Hiv is a fragile, difficult to transmit virus that is primarily transmitted INSIDE the human body, as in unprotected anal or vaginal intercourse where the virus never leaves the confines of the two bodies.

Once outside the body, small changes in temperature, and pH and moisture levels all quickly damage the virus and render it unable to infect. For this reason, frottage is NOT a risk as it takes place on the outside of the body.

Nothing else you report doing was a risk for hiv infection.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:

You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together.

To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex without a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.

Have a look through the condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.

ALTHOUGH YOU DO NOT NEED TO TEST OVER KISSING, NIPPLE PLAY OR FROTTAGE, anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.

If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results.

Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv. Some of the other STIs can be present with no obvious symptoms, so the only way to know for sure is to test.

Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple!

Thank you all for your quick responses. The experience described was my first ever, my lack of knowledge about the HIV Virus made me agree to do unprotected things. His answer of being negative may have been sufficient at the moment, but now, days later I know of my stupidity. I now understand how a couple of minitues of heat can change a life in a whole. I am still afraid, truely afraid, the mocuous membrance is something that I am afraid of Where is it located?, another thing was SINCE i have never had sex, maybe he penetrated without me even knowing which keeps me up at night.

You are worrying needlessly when you are thinking you might have been penetrated without realizing.

That's your fears taking over and not plain common sense. Please believe me, especially as you are  someone who has not had penetrative sex previously, you would definitely without any question known through how your butt felt/feels that a penis had been in there. Really.
