Title: Looking for leaders
Post by: ChaplinGuy on January 31, 2007, 09:20:08 am

I do PR and consulting for an organization that nominates federal employees each year for awards recognizing the importance of public service. The organization is going to be opening up its nominations process for the 2007 awards, and I wanted to reach out to the community here to try and find good leads on individuals who were involved in helping people with HIV/AIDS during and after Hurricane Katrina, 9/11 or throughout Africa.

The important element is that they must be employed by the federal government (non-profits, etc unfortunately are not included). If you know of someone who you think deserves some recognition, I would certainly like to see this year's nominees/winners include someone who works on this important issue. Please PM me with your suggestions.

Many thanks!
