Can I get HIV from this activities?
« on: October 01, 2017, 08:08:56 am »
First of all, sorry for my bad english!! And Thank you for having me (here).

Hello.
I'm little bit scared, because last night I was on a date with guy (an always "top only" gay, he said he never contact with blood or semen in a past with his ex boyfriend) (this is our second date), and we hadn't sex, but i don't know that I am in trouble because of the activities?: we kissed, not tongue kiss, just a slowly, delicate, mouth-mouth kiss. Kiss a lot. Then we IN OUR CLOTHES started stroking/fondle each other. Then I gave him a hand sanitizer (just in case), and I undress from below then he stroked/fondle my bottom, and my hole, with slowly, gently move. It was like a massage. Then he kissed my bottom, and my hole a few times, it is tickled me :).
I didn't see blood or scar or ulcer, etc. on his hand and his finger (I "examined" before he touch me just in case). But if he injure my bottom hole with his nail? And if there was a tiny blood in his mouth (fresh blood not, but for example blood because he brushed his teeth before the date...) and he kissed my hole, then can I catch a HIV?

Thank you for your answers!

Your English was fine and I understood your question, nothing you mentioned was even remotely risk for HIV.
Kissing is not a risk so next date give him a good deep one  :)
Rimming and touching are not risk either, saliva is not an infectious fluid and the virus does not survive once outside the body and exposed to the environment.

It is safe to move on, I also would like you to read this link on how the virus is transmitted.

Thank you Wade! :) I'm glad. I know, kiss is no risk, so yeah, go ahead :) The rimming was the "babadook" for me, but then it's okay.

Dear Experts!

I am so stupid. Again.

So far I was careful, but now I did't pay attention my body. :'(

Last night I met a guy [third time date], and we kissed each other, then we undressed, then he fingering my anus (no blood, no scar on his finger) then he licked my anus. It was so good, but!! after he finished that activities his penis touch my butt for a moment (while he overlied higher on my back), not my bunghole, just my butt skin (surface). And I'm scared, because what if his pre-cum (i don't know he had pre-cum) somehow went into my bunghole? Can I get HIV? :'(

I hope you understand my fear, and my english.

HIV is sexually transmitted inside the human body as in never leaving the confides of the body. Once exposed outside the body to the environment HIV is not longer infectouise as the receptors needed to infect are damaged rendering it no longer capable to infect you. So pre-cum on your skin is not a HIV risk, its not viable to infect you.

Rimming, fingering and kissing etc have already been asked and answered.

Here's what you need to know in order to avoid hiv infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

More information on HIV Basics, PEP, TaSP and Transmission can be found through the links in my signature to our POZ pages, this includes information on HIV Testing

Kind regards

Jim
