I hope you don't mind us neggies playing in the fun off-topic forums too.
I came to this site because of the link that said "Someone I Care About Has HIV". 
This has been a god-send for me (ooops, I am athesist, anyway), and I truly appreciate all the wonderful information that it has, and the wonderful personalities I have met.
I really don't know where or how I would be right now, had I not landed here.  And I hope that I am able to continue to be a part of this wonderful place!

HIV negative members of the Forums have always been permitted to post here in Orf Torpic. It's one of the reasons it was created back in 2005, so our small number of neg members could kick back with us poz bodz.

And I greatly appreciate that!  I really have enjoyed getting to interact with the people on here.  In fact, I have to say, that right after checking my email messages, I log onto here.

My status says still pending, because, correct if I am wrong, if you have a high-risk exposure to someone who is positive, you don't really know untill you have your 3 month results, right?  so, my 6 week result will be in mid-septmeber, and the 3 month will be end of October.  Anyway, I gave a brief sypnosis of our story in my thread under "Someone I Care About Has HIV", as well as tidbits here and there.  Yeah, It's hard to talk about personal relationships, and the activities that go along with them.  So, ummm, just let's enjoy each other's company~?~

And Jeff, that was more a rhetorical "Hope you dont mind if I am in here" than a personal one, as I have really grown fond of some of the people I have met in here.

And as for Cindy, I love her, but I won't try to steal her.  I know the value of a good fruitfly.

And honestly, I am such an emotionaly basketcase anymore, with being dumped, then the rebound guy being a jerk, and having to buy a new home, and starting a new job, and some family problems, and all that other stuff we all deal with on a daily basis, I don't think I can stand anymore stress, rejection, or otherwise.

This is correct. Most people who test positive do so at the 6 week mark, but it can take up to 12 weeks to come back positive which is why the window period is 12-13 weeks.

A couple of people I have met/dated are on atripla and thats what I meant.

Atripla's once a day (I'm taking it) but I also take Bactrim and some stuff for nausea that are directly related to having HIV, so I'm pretty sure that counts as not only taking one pill a day.
If that makes sense. =P

But I'm sure there are people out there with relatively good numbers and low side effects that only need to remember the one pill?
