receptive oral with blood and open wound

First would like to thank Jim and other moderators here for all their work and efforts, you guys are awesome. I've ready probably more than 50 pages worth of support.

My exposure happened on January 10th approximately 6:00 am in the morning, I was still awake after a few days from a bender of cocaine/beer. I was at a friends house and we called two working girls for some "fun". I ended up in the shower with one of the girls and she accidentally slipped coming out of the shower. I asked if she was okay, and said she was. We proceeded to the bed where she started doing oral on me, I think it must have lasted around 1 minute or so, not sure since I was really drunk but noticed it was really wet so I took out my penis and saw blood mixed with her saliva coming out of her mouth and around my penis. Not sure if there was any on my urethra but there was some brownish looking blood spots under my glans (uncircumsized). As soon as I saw that I asked again if she was okay, told her we should stop and I went to wash myself in the shower and peed. Ended up taking her home, going home to shower again and think of everything that happened. I was able to get on PEP at exactly 3:10 pm the same day. So around 9-10 hours later took my first dose of DTG/3TC, which is the protocol here in Brazil where I live and is offered free from our public health system.

Symptoms:
- felt some throat soreness first week of exposure
- feeling pressure around my sinus, like nose area since the incident, almost 2 weeks
- my nose feels like im going to get sick, like the sniffles has been going for more than a week now
- im paranoid and keep checking the mirror if I get thrush
-10 days, feel occasional pains in muscles, back or inner thigh and feet, but lasts shortly

I read most of your articles about oral and most of them seem to be without probably as much blood I had present so im freaking out. Even though I started PEP, I keep thinking I could have started earlier and think Im going to seroconvert as soon as I stop, as I have 13 days left.

Jim Allen:
Hiya,

Read your post three times; it's not an HIV concern. Move on with your life.

Here's what you need to know to reduce your HIV risks:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse correctly and consistently, with no exceptions. Consider talking to your healthcare provider about PrEP as an additional layer of protection against HIV

Keep in mind that some sexual practices described as safe in terms of acquiring HIV still pose a risk for other easier-acquired STIs. So please do get tested at least yearly for STIs, including but not limited to HIV, and more frequently if condomless intercourse occurs.

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms; testing is the only way to know.

Kind regards

Jim

surfer06:
When she slipped coming out of the shower, I think she must have bit her inner mouth wall or tongue, even with open wound like that and blood coming out there is no risk for me ?

Jim Allen:
Asked and answered already.

Move on with your life

Thanks for your time and attention Jim, one last question, does fluconazole affect PEP efficiency ?
