Do I Have HIV? / Re: Totally concerned and confused!
« Last post by Jim Allen on July 27, 2021, 12:41:46 pm »

Their test results and claimed HIV status is irrelevant. If you ever do have a risk just focus on your own results.

we did everything else such as mutual masturbation, rubbed his penis around my anal hole and french kissed each other

Anyhow, kissing, masturbation and rubbing was no HIV risk to you whatsoever.

If anything else happened please be specific.

. I asked this guy to test using 4th generation and he was negative on the 21st and 53rd days after I slept with him and both were negative.

What does this mean? Did you have intercourse and if so did you use condoms?? Was there oral sex and if so was it just receiving oral sex or also giving?

Here's what you need to know to avoid HIV infection:
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, every time, no exceptions. Consider talking to your health care provider about taking PrEP going forward as an additional layer of HIV protection.

Keep in mind that some sexual practices which may be described as ‘safe’ in terms of HIV transmission might still pose a risk for transmission of other STI's, so please do get fully tested regularly and at least yearly for all STI's including but not limited to HIV and test more frequently if unprotected intercourse occurs

Also, note that it is possible to have an STI and show no signs or symptoms and the only way of knowing is by testing.

Kind regards

Do I Have HIV? / Totally concerned and confused!

Greetings ALL,

I’ll head straight to my story. I’m a male and I tested in April 8, 2021 using lab 4th generation and it was negative. This test was 12 weeks after sleeping with another guy but there was no insertion but we did everything else such as mutual masturbation, rubbed his penis around my anal hole and french kissed each other. I asked the guy to test and he tested but that was 8 weeks after I met him and was negative too.

On may 13, 2021, I met another guy (I know stupid me) and did everything I did with the first guy and then I started worrying again. I asked this guy to test using 4th generation and he was negative on the 21st and 53rd days after I slept with him and both were negative.

My questions:

1- Am I in the clear from both encounters?
2- Do I need to test to cover any possibility of HIV transmission from either one of these guys even though they were negative, my concern though is that they maybe still in the window period?
3- What is the transmission risk from this type of exposure (genital rubbing, frottage, french kissing and mutual mastrbation?)

Thanks in advance

I have my little red car. I used to drive a mini van! So happy these days. I used to work at Loomis. Yes counting money and keeeping track of it in accounts. But I left that job. It was good pay, but too much stress.
So now I get to travel for work. All to pay for my little red car.
My husband did say outside that he was glad he could get my car for me. I am the one earning more money. But I looked and some male neighbors were standing outside as we walked in the house.
One day I’ll set my boundaries. For now I am just getting stable.
I Just Tested Poz / Re: Fagradalsfjal - Introduction

So the buzzing that was in my left foot is now in my right, and at times while I am sitting, I get a burning tightness that travels up both my legs from the feet.

I had done some research, and I think my height is definitely not a good thing. I am 6' 4" (193 cm). I had read that tallness is a major factor in neuropathic pain in HIV/AIDS. Of course, you recall I also have AIDS, although my CD4 was up to 311 at the very beginning of June.

I have also noticed a major increase in tiny muscle spasms all over my body. And I feel I am becoming depressed. I have thought of things unrelated conditions like MS - not that I want that either. But I think the most likely culprit is the advanced HIV in my case.

I wrote my PCP to see what she thinks. I didn't have this buzzing and pain until June. I started ARVs in mid-March.

Just wanted to post a quick note to say, welcome to the forum.

I'm not in the US so I don't have an answer for you, although, maybe the links below will help.

ojo.           Hello my friends!!!, well, it’s time for my colonoscopy, my older brother died of Colon cancer eight years ago and now, I have to be checked, every five year…the procedure itself is quick and easy, the problems is the liquid diet you have to follow to clean your intestines before your test, you have to drink some solution that will keep you on the “throne” all day long, ouch!!…well, I will let you know the results of such test…wish me luck, please…hugs

ojo.

ojo.             Hi OP, congratulations!!!, great result…your initial VL level, may have been an error, in any event, you are UD now and you can relax and go back to live your normal life, just take your meds and continue with your doctor’s appointments, you will be OK…again, congratulations!!…hugs.                           ojo
