NHL - Plasmablastic Lymphoma sufferer
« on: October 26, 2006, 07:13:35 am »
Hi Guys and Girls,

I have recently been having Chemotherapthy for Plasmablastic Lymphoma (NHL) however the Chemo (Codox-m & Ivac) has had its complications, its killed off my bone marrow. This means I am having constant transplants (bloods and platlets) along with other assistantance (GSCF and other drug injections).

I have put on weight and looking really real but have no energy, very lethargic. (Up from 60 k to 72  in the last month - I'm 6'3")

The lymphompa (B Cell) commenced in my lung, but spread to my tonsills, throat, arm pits, spleen and even my testicles (the only action they had seen for many years).

Is their anyone out their who is going through similiar circumstance that would like to chat.

I can't get any more Chemo at the moment because it has fucked up my bone marrow, but still have the lymphoma, so a bit down on how my own body will try to fight and survive but am very positive to survive - just maybe looking for a little e-mail help with this.

I am a 45 yr old mail, been HIV positive since 1995, (well that was when it was diagnosed), have a pet cat called Misty (should be Histy because she hisses at everyone that visits). I got her (Misty) they day after I had to put my former cat down of 23 years, so as you can see cats are my life.  - Well I like all animals, yes even humans (he he).

If anyone knows info on plasmablastic lymphoma of the lung or someone who is also suffering from it I would like to hear from them (male or female)or learn information - help share a thought or stuff ok.

Felix (from Australia)
