my first posting so scared to talk or post this subject
my partner was performing oral anal sex on me for over 3 year without treatment can i get infect by this action? my test came back neg. Was told that i should test every six months just to be on the safeside.he's had hiv for 10 year 5 of those years no treatment.

No, rimming is not a risk...

Oral-Anal Sex
Oral-anal sex is often referred to as analingus. Analingus, or "rimming," is not considered to be an independent risk factor for HIV. However, it has been shown to be a route of transmission for hepatitis A and B, as well as parasitic infections like giardiasis and amebiasis.

It might fit some of the symptoms you are having, but I would check that with your doctor. I wouldn't make your own diagnosis based on an internet forum but would suggest you get it checked out by a trained medical professional who can make a diagnosis based on actually seeing you and performing tests. It might give you food for thought as to what to talk to your medical professional about, but it shouldn't be taken as more than that...

Am I reading you correctly that you are in a relationship with a positive man? If so, as long as you two are using condoms for anal intercourse, you'll be just fine where hiv is concerned. Please read through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use them with confidence. A correctly used condom rarely breaks and is very effective for preventing hiv infection.
I was in a serodiscordant (poz/neg) relationship for eight years and he remained hiv negative. The only precaution we took was to use condoms for intercourse. I was diagnosed while already in this relationship.
He tested when I was diagnosed and followed up with a test three months after our last incident of unprotected intercourse. Negative. He tested a third time three months later, then six months after that; negative. With each negative result he had, our confidence in condoms grew. After the first year or so, he tested yearly. You may want to test every six months until your also confidence grows.

As long as your hiv test was preformed three months or more after your last incident of UNPROTECTED anal or vaginal intercourse with ANYONE, then you are hiv negative.
You need to be using condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, every time, no exceptions until such time as you are in a securely monogamous relationship where you have both tested for ALL sexually transmitted infections together. To agree to have unprotected intercourse is to consent to the possibility of being infected with an STI. Sex with a condom lasts only a matter of minutes, but hiv is forever.
Have a look through all three condom and lube links in my signature line so you can use condoms with confidence.
Anyone who is sexually active should be having a full sexual health care check-up, including but not limited to hiv testing, at least once a year and more often if unprotected intercourse occurs.
If you aren't already having regular, routine check-ups, now is the time to start. As long as you make sure condoms are being used for intercourse, you can fully expect your routine hiv tests to return with negative results. Don't forget to always get checked for all the other sexually transmitted infections as well, because they are MUCH easier to transmit than hiv.
Use condoms for anal or vaginal intercourse, correctly and consistently, and you will avoid hiv infection. It really is that simple.

well after reading countless posting and still reading them.
I feel great about facing any outcome. when all my testing comes back.
i feel better knowing and understand my position and the course of action that i can take to still live a very normal life be it neg. or pos.
no shock & awe for me.
Just a forward outlook ,I shall overcome and be strong in my path to live.

well i guess i may have over stepped my bounds. Something went wrong with my safe sex practice.
test result cameback.positive!!!. now i must pickup the piece's and retool my life to deal with this disease. not afraid just need to come to terms with telling my family and friends .That will be very hard for me.As they are homophobic idiots.heading to europe to seek out some doctors dealing in advance treatment. not sure if that's the correct thing or just a big waste of time.only time will tell.
i will add this.i intend to tend to my health first then,i will may sure that person never does this again to anyone else by curing their desire to have no more sex at all.that person will pay dearly for this violation of my person.

Has your positive result been confirmed with a western blot? Sometimes an initial test -- ELISA or other -- will yield a false positive. Frankly it doesn't make sense from what you have thus far reported of your activities to get a positive result. In any case, an initial positive result is always checked by having a western blot, which is very sensitive and more HIV specific.
Here's hoping you get a negative result on the re-test if that hasn't already been done.

As you were told you didn't have a risk of contracting HIV from any of the situations you brought to this forum and as for saying you contracted it from someone on this forum from your so called "Safe Sex" practices is total bullshit. Making a threat to anyone on this forum will get your ass banned and I hope you understand that.

I am sorry that you have tested HIV positive. It's a little confusing - but if correct you are right - something did go wrong with your safe-sex practices sometime in that 5 years as I still stand by that you don't get it in the manner you described. That is regrettable and I am sorry that you (or anyone) has to deal not only with the disease itself, but with the stupid stigma that paranoid people have about it.
You need good medical advice if you can get it.
If you are a man of action and are not looking for revenge, then I don't quite understand your post about mentioning the person who you got it from being from this forum. You are right, that is your private affair, so keep it that way.
