I was without meds after my move to a new state. I still do not have Medicaid yet as it takes 45 days for the worker to either approve or deny my application. This means the decision should be made on the 29th of this month. For now my doctor saw me with Medicaid pending and sent me to the county health department for medications. The county health department gave me a social worker who had me sign up for ADAP to get my meds. My meds came two days later.
Today I went to the college and found out that I won't be able to finish my certification in summer of 2014 since none of the courses are offered in summer. So I am taking spring courses and taking the summer off. Which means that I will have time to spend with my husband and daughter this summer, then return to school in the fall for my last three courses. So I will still have my certification before 2015 like I wanted.
I also have heard from many doctors and health care workers that I won't have a problem finding a job when I am out of school. I am going for healthcare administration.
Another thing is my daughter was put in an Individual education plan, (IEP for short), because her last school did not send her transcripts and she was also in an IEP there. She was tested in this new school and in January she is now in regular classes. Her test results put her in the high end of the average rating scale. And her writing, reading, and comprehension levels higher.
Now I am just waiting for January eighth to start school. I am so excited!

Thanks. I hope this coming year continues to be successful for my family. Earlier this winter we drove/moved from Nevada to Montana. My 15 year old daughter slept most of the way and surprisingly never asked if we were there yet. Though she did ask if we could stop somewhere with internet!
