Hey Grubby....
Your first week will be a bit crazy or at least unpredictable!  But there are a whole bunch of us who have travelled this path that you are now on and we are all hoping for the best outcome for you!  I started on sustiva and truvada....knowing that the sustiva works great for some and not so well for others.  After a year on it I realized that I was one of the "others".  I just switched from sustiva to lexiva/norvir and it works great.  (still taking the truvada)  I am glad, however, that I gave it a fair trial.  So it will take a while to see how it treats you but hang in there!  Gotta bring down that viral load!!

I have not heard of kivexa....is that a new one?? or just another name something else?

Be Well!!

I too am on Kaletra and have been on it for about 2 weeks now along with Combivir.  The dreams are still wild for me, but they have settled down a bit, I am hoping that normal dreams return.
6/8/07 VL = 86,000 CD4 = 135
6/14/07 Started Combivir/Kaletra
6/29/07 VL = 364 CD4 = 351
8/30/07 VL =<50 CD4 = 156
9/19/07 VL=<50 CD4 = 361
12/3/07 VL = <50 CD4 = 250 14.3%
5/2/08 VL = <50 CD4 = 491 25%
8/4/08 VL = <50 CD4 = 292 21%
9/8/08 VL = <50 CD4= 331

Glad to hear that things have been going better for you since starting on meds. You will most likely see a dramatic drop in your viral load on your next blood test. Wishing you the best...
