Ginseng?

I am currently taking Atripla and am wondering if Ginseng is ok to take as well.  I've done some searching on the Web + these boards and am finding old and contradictory info. Does anybody here have any info?  I will of course ask my doctor but won't be seeing him for another week.

Herbal are tricky.

Unlike some supplements which are a specific thing, Herbs are complex.

There are some cases where Herbals are suspected in having a hand in viralogic failure. And Saint John's Wort Definately is listed with some drugs as a "do Not Take".

I'm actually a big fan of Ginseng in fighting fatigue. Whenever I went off of it Pre Med, my fatigue was so much more noticable.

But now that I'm on meds, and feeling much better, I'm avoiding Ginseng at this time.
